We have always enjoyed the dining experience at this steakhouse in the past but found the food lacking in quality on this trip. Our pork chop was way over cooked and dry to the point of being unable to eat. We packed it up to take home to the dogs. The service on the other hand was out standing. We miss the variety of breads we had in the past. We have had the pork chop previously and it was great and wanted it again but it left us questioning a return trip to the steakhouse.

We loved everything we ordered except the snapper. The snapper came with crab meat and potatoes. It was very plain and dry. Potatoes were slightly soggy. Service was excellent! Wasn’t overly impressed with the food.

Our server was great but it took a really long time for our entrees to come out and the restaurant wasn’t busy that night. My wife loved the halibut but my chicken was very dry and not worth $36 plus $13 for a side of potatoes. The prices are outrageous. We don’t mind paying top dollar for great food, service and ambiance but their prices are way out of line. Maybe the steaks are better.

My husband ordered Snapper Ponchatrain. Waiter asked if he wanted snapper or sea bass and he said snapper. Menu price was $64 (which is excessive for fish). When we got bill he was charged $68. When we asked waiter why he said he doesn’t input the prices and that snapper and sea bass are different prices. Ok so we ordered snapper and on the menu it was $64 not $68. He never bother to address this issue so I took the extra $4 from his tip.

My husband and I have always had a Wonderful experience at Jack Binion's Steak House. Best steak I have ever eaten and the marinated blue crab claws are to die for. It is worth the 4 hours we drive to Horseshoe, just to eat at the steakhouse. From the time you get there until the time you leave, you are made to feel like their only customer. Great food, Great customer service. Not a lot of restaurants can bost about that these days. Will definately go back.

The prices have gone through the roof. I have been going there for years. One pound of crab legs is now $140. New York Strip was $74. All very average. Small wine pours. The service was okay but not what it used to be.

My wife and I had never done a fine dining experience. We were in town for journey and stayed at the horseshoe. We had a 1700 reservation for two and were seated by 1702. Very prompt service staff. Cleveland was our server and he was very good at his job! Had an awesome personality and attitude. Only thing I had to ask for was some steak sauce for my wife. New York strip, Beef filet, and shrimp were all high quality and cooked perfectly. The sides are family sized and the twice baked potato and fire roasted corn were great. My wife and I could not eat all the food we ordered. Whiskey drinks and wine flowed freely and fast when asked for! Can not thank Cleveland enough for his hospitality and effort in making our special night excellent.

Steaks had a great flavor but were not cooked correctly and no one asked if they were. The sides were just “ok”, nothing great. We had the creamed spinach and the Mac n cheese. Also for shareable sides they gave us no spoons for the sides. Overall though we had a good experience; however I can’t say “great” for the money spent (over 300.00 and that is with no alcoholic beverages, salads or dessert.

Good Bread and butter. Love the glow in the dark menu. Had the BBQ shrimp and wife the escargot. Excellent but was hoping for New Orleans style BBQ Oysters. For dinner I had their specialty Cajun Pasta with crab, crawfish, sausage and shrimp over pasta. Was a generous portion, wish it were spicier. Wife had the crab meat cocktail which was well worth the money. Steaks were pricey and can get a good one in Texas so skipped em. Took two hours to get our food and eat. The waiter did not come around to refill our drinks and waited a long time for our food but it did arrive hot. Waiter also did not offer to prepare her Potatoe. Manager gave us an apology desert. Two glasses of wine, iced tea, one entre, three appetizers, Baked Potatoe, dessert and tip ran $220.

Valentines dinner so every table was full. Took 20 minutes before waiter came to greet table and get drink order. Food was very good but no follow up on how steaks were cooked after we cut into them. It appeared there were not enough servers for this night which was disappointing. Spending $300 on just the meal (not tip) was not really worth it when you factor in overall experience. I will visit some other spots when fine dining in town next time.

We come there ever time we are in Shreveport . The food and the service is always wonderful. My only complaint is that you are not serving the same bread , we loved the variety of bread you use to have . The bread we were served the last two times was just ok , it was hard around the edges but ok in the middle but definitely not my favorite bread. My steak was excellent as always.
