I had a great lunch experience with an old friend of mine. We had the lunch set with the extra tuna sushi (three pieces). Every dish was fantastic quality and very much worth the price. This could be my favorite sushi place in Toronto. Service was fantastic, and our female server was extremely polite and diligent. The restaurant is extremely clean and nice and quiet. My wife saw the pictures of our lunch and was so jealous that I did not take her. This means that I will be back again! Thanks to all the stuff for a great experience.

Four of us from two different firms had a combined mentorship lunch. The Lunch Set was just perfect for all of us. Paired with roasted green tea, we were ready for action after that delicious lunch. I have had the Omikase Lunch in the past amd while I love it, it can be too big in the middle of the day (I cringe writing this because it is so good) and the Lunch Set hits the highlights of the Omikase perfectly. Brilliant! I will be back (for both)!

10* to Paul's Summer Cocktails! We've praised the new cocktails list before, but our gratitude grew last night with every sip; you don't expect creative drinks of this quality at a regular Japanese restaurant. Still, there is nothing regular about Jabistro. Last night was not exception. Once again, Andrei opted for ala cart just because he craves a full portion of the lobster miso, which is a must try, and the wagyu carpaccio. Olga and I settled for the lighter $95 version of the pre-set and loved every bite of it. I tried substituting the sushi for sashimi before, but this time stuck with the originals and was rewarded with melting in the mouth torched sushi marvels. In the end, Jabistro does everything with absolute mastery, from the home-made soya souses to creative pallets of each dish, under leadership of esteemed Japanese trained chefs! Kudos to all of you who made last night so wonderful!

We opted for the dinner tasting menu. Everything was fantastic, especially the service. Although it was relatively expensive, we still flat like we got great value for our money.

Fantastic birthday party! Instead of dinner pre-set we chose our favourite lobster miso, special uni hand-roll, which is a must try, wagyu carpaccio and large sashimi to share. Our friends added several sublime torched sushis, it was a feast! Thank you Sophie and the team for great service and a beautiful candle presentation:) last but not least the sprits cocktails are so wonderfully refreshing!
