Heneghan’s Tavern welcomes guests to enjoy its contemporary American cuisine, warm hospitality, and personal service in beautiful Point Lookout, NY. Chef Diego Ramirez's seasonal menu consists of elegant dishes with a rustic influence that showcase the restaurant's relationships with Heneghan’s Farm in Coxsackie, NY and local purveyors.

You Cant go wrong at JA' Heneghan's always a fun and lively neighborhood place to go I recommend it highly. Great food, awesome pub atmosphere in the front and more formal in the back. Try it you will love it.

We opted to eat in the tavern and at first felt cramped because of a party waiting for the dining room, but they cleared out quickly and we were comfortable. The server was personable and knew the menu and the drink menu. She recommended a drink for my husband who enjoyed it so much he had a second. The appetizers were good and the kitchen put our entrees on 2 plates so we could share. A simple things but so few restaurants do this. A band began at 7:45 (really a duo- brother and sister) I was nervous that we were too close and it would be too loud and I was wrong- they were fabulous! It was an enjoyable evening.

Loved our appetizers of beer cheese dip and spinach artichoke. There were a few good vegetarian options so will def be back. Service was great. Our waitress was attentive and pleasant. The place was pretty crowded for a snowy/rainy. Saturday night.
