    This visit coincided with an event at the CHI center, which brought a larger crowd than we are typically used to during our dinners at J’s. Had a great evening and enjoyed our meal.

    Waiter said they messed our order up is why it was taking so long. It ended up taking over an hour to get our food. Then I ordered my steak well it came out medium.

    Steak arrived cold and raw. Reheated in microwave obvious because ends were overdone and middle was less done. Did not offer bread until we asked. Wooden knives are not sanitary.

    Our waitress was awesome, but the food was just OK. Had to send back my original meal(Pork chops) because it was under cooked. Made a different choice(Filet) and it was better. Unfortunately we will not be returning. The pricing is to high for the quality of the food. Very glad that we had a gift certificate to cover most of the cost.

    Excellent waitress and overall service. Filets and bone in ribeye all cooked to perfection. Scalloped potatoes and mashed all super good. Scallops melted in your mouth! One of favorite places to celebrate special occasions.

    A delicious thanksgiving dinner! Thank you for your hard work. The crab bisque and butternut squash soups were delectable. The Turkey was moist, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green beans were delicious. The berries with cream and the creme brûlée were delectable. Thank you!

    First time visit to J. Gilbert's Omaha and we went on Thanksgiving. Everything was great. Service was amazing, food was awesome! They offered their whole menu for Thanksgiving in addition to a great Thanksgiving Prix Fixe offering Turkey and all the fixings. Value was great for all that you get.
