J. Alexander’s is a contemporary American restaurant, known for its wood-fired cuisine. Our core philosophy is to provide you with the highest possible quality dining experience. The menu features a wide selection of American classics including prime rib of beef, steaks, fresh seafood, sandwiches and entrée salads. The menu in each restaurant includes a varied and rotating selection of features like Seafood Czarina, Tuscan Steak, Grilled Fish with Mango Papaya Salsa and Chicken Milanese. The restaurant has a full-service bar that includes an outstanding selection of wines both by the glass and bottle. Patio seating is on a first come, first serve basis.

Great place to eat. It was a Wednesday lunch so I can't speak for the busier days or dinner, but it was great.

Love this place. I no longer eat steak but they had many other options. I chose chicken, it was delicious and enough for two. My friend ordered salmon, he really enjoyed his meal as well. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Prices were reasonable, restaurant was very clean with a great ambience. I recommend and will most definitely revisit.

The waiter was accommodating and attentive. The food areoved rather quickly. The salads are big enough for two people. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything was delicious. It was kind of annoying though because the food came out really fast. This isn't a fast food restaurant, no need to rush diners.

Best prime rib. Can't get enough of the Alex salad. Some of the best sour dough bread in Chicagoland.
