We used to eat at J. Alexanders back in Palm Beach Gardens when we lived there and were excited when one opened up here in our area of NJ. Same menu, same quality and the couple we brought really enjoyed it. Always solid. You won't be disappointed in the food.

We frequent JAlexanders in Palm Beach while we are in Florida for 3 months in winter. The experience there has been outstanding. Of course this is an established restaurant versus one that is relatively new here in NJ. We were a little disappointed, we had a new server and he was both very pleasant and tried really hard to please but some of the delivery was late or delayed. This was especially so with cocktails that we thought should be more timely. The food was paced fine, the appetizers were good; artichokes and calamari, but with dinner Joan who is strictly vegetarian (very limited selection or options) received her salad with chicken and it had to go back and be recreated, Doug was happy with his salmon burger but Stephen was not. I was very happy with the special veal Milanese. Therefore, it was a bit hit and miss for us. We will go again since we think with both the restaurant and the waiter being new that this was a ramping up issue. We must also say the gals at the front desk were fabulous. They greeted us like we were dignitaries falling all over each other to help get us seated and to find an alternate table to the one we did not care for. So overall it was both a positive and not so positive dining evening.

Great location with plenty parking. The food is great with the service, really nice bar. A great all around experience.

The dinner was lovely. Be warned you have to like the taste of charcoal for some appetizers. Overall a great addition to the area! A little NYC steakhouse in NJ
