Such a shame. We were really looking forward to the meal. On arrival, the Maitre D was miserable and the welcome was very poor. We were sat down and asked if we wanted sparkling or still... good start. Then another waitress came immediately and asked the same question.... it's obviously not an issue to be asked twice but gave us an indication of poor night that was to come. We ordered food and 2 beers. 30 mins later I chased about the beers and was told they would follow up. The bar is upstairs and so drinks are brought down 20 stairs - it's a bizarre separate set up and it seems that they are not talking to each other. The beers eventually arrived. The chicken and salmon skewers were $20 each and had the tiniest morsel of meat on each. 2 tiny morsels of meat for $20 was ridiculous. Edamame beans were very nice. However, the steak main dish was fatty, under-cooked (rare versus medium) and covered in a mayo like sauce and came with a very wet pumpkin mash under it. The broccoli side dish was undercooked and also covered in the mayo. In fact even the skewers were covered in the dreaded mayo. Way too much mayo everywhere. The uniforms are bizarre - hospital black scrubs with tags hanging off them. Definitely won;t be coming back. We loved the hotel but won;t be visiting its anchor restaurant again - will just eat elsewhere.

We treated ourselves to the Zen Garden High Tea for Mother’s Day- the food was fab, ambience was nice and the staff were attentive. We had a really nice time.

We preordered the tomahawk steak and wine for 2 and were pleasantly surprised. Got to see chef flambé it and slice for easy eating. The pumpkin purée was delicious and broccolini cooked to perfection. Very good value and professional friendly service

The menu has an item of 20 nigiri rolls and I was on my own dinning, when I asked to give me half portion, they happily did it for me although it wasn’t on the menu. Loved the experience and how they cared for their guests. The ambience is outstanding; a piece of arts, music at the right tone and volume, cozy space.
