We saw the website and found the place enticing (original food cool decor) but we were bitterly disappointed. The food was mediocre, the service not attentive. All I can say is 'don't go by the looks of a website' (very deceitful in this case). We will never go back.

Great quality good value Japanese bites, run by Koreans. I lived in Tokyo for 4 years, and feels pretty "real". It's my favorite izakaya in the flatiron area.

Not great, much better yakitori and izakaya restaurants out there. Tables were sooo small. Also run by Koreans not Japanese, so not very authentic izakaya food.

Extremely disappointed after hearing about such great reviews. Some dishes that were noted as shareable or entree size where not accurate. Pricing was very high for other izakaya in the area with better quality (i.e. Yellow tail entree was $15 for 5 pieces of sashimi, didn't seem that fresh). After we received most of our order in a reasonable fashion we had asked about our skewer order and waited 30 mins for our server to say that he forgot to place the skewer order. Disappointed we didn't want anything else or to wait for him to place it at that point. We had asked for some sort of compensation on the bill but said all he could do was give us ice cream. Though a nice gesture, still left not taken care of. The server tried but I wish he would have at least checked with his manager or something. Unfortunately will not be back.

Compared to all NYC izakaya's the food here is mediocre. Service is fast and friendly and there were a few bites that were good (including the complimentary sweet potato shoestring fries)

Izakaya is a great place to go for their cuisine and their sushi. We usually go there after theater on our way home and rarely can enjoy their sushi but even that is outstanding. Brought a friend and it didn't fail me. He'll be going for more. Hope they keep it up.
