The food was delicious and the staff is super attentive. I'm a huge dessert person so was a little disappointed that there weren't many options for dessert. Also if you're a fan of sweet drinks I would try to get a drink at the bar there might be more variety than the menu you get at the table.

Amazing ambiance with great music and a sax player that went up to every table. Vibes are top notch and I felt like I was in Miami. Food was delicious and drinks were awesome.

Great ambiance and service. Had an issue with our first round of drinks but the waitress and manager handled the issue with grace and the following rounds of drinks were perfect! The food was AMAZING! The ambiance and vibe were great! We had the octopus which was so good, the guacamole could have been better it was average, the birria tacos were soooo good! And the flautas were really good as well! The churros for dessert are a must have!

Great food. It’s been a while since I’ve enjoyed Mexican food. Each dish had great flavors. The service was wonderful and even the floor manager, Jean Pierre, said hello, which was nice. A phenomenal selection of mezcal. Really enjoyed the pechugo flights.

IXTA was fabulous! The decor and ambience were gorgeous, creative, and exciting. The service was attentive and excellent. My party of ten was seated in a lovely exclusive room in the back of the place with a cool, hidden door. The food was delicious and I look forward to going againn.

We went for restaurant week and had a great time. The location and vibe was upbeat and fun. The food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We had the guacamole and the Branzino tacos. The margaritas were also delicious.

The ambiance of IXTA is absolutely to die for. I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed the ceviche mixto. The prawns el Diablo weren’t as spicy as I thought they would be, and comes in a small portion of 4/5 pieces, I wouldn’t suggest sharing. However my main course, the Pollo Rostizado with sesame seeds was disgustingly dry. I couldn’t finish the meal. Will never order that again.

Service was excellent! Ambiance was great and the cocktails were tasty. Downside is on a Friday night, the music is insanely loud so don’t bank on too many intimate conversations. Food is very good, but portions are really small.

Ixta was amazing. Our waitress was super friendly, super serving and super informative advising of her recommendations. Met one of the owners and he too had great energy!! Food was sooo good, dessert was amazing and the drinks were signature. Will be going back and definitely recommend you visit now.

The ambiance reminds me of Tulum. The restaurant is beautiful. I love the decor and the bar/lounge in front. Our waiter was super nice and provided great recommendations on popular dishes. However, I thought the portions were small and overpriced. Food was medicore.

I stumbled on Ixta when looking for a spot on OpenTable to take my daughter for her 18th birthday. What a pleasant surprise to walk into this gorgeous palace and be waited on from the moment we walked in as if we were VIPs. Truly. (Thank you Marcelo!) The service…impeccable. The food…I enjoyed just about everything I tried: some kind of truffle-y app that they should but do not automatically service with their absolutely delectable homemade round nachos. (They them if you ask; not sure whether they charge for them as I didn’t pay). Ceviche…mouth-wateringly delicious. Tacos de birria (goat meat)…good but I don’t love goat so would probably not order them next time. Short rib entree… FABULOUS…Brussels sprouts, which I usually love… inmemorable. They’re too big and fat—some I couldn’t even cut. They should shred them more. Drinks were unbelievable and so festive. And some kind of donut dessert was also amazing. Overall I give Ixta a solid B+ for food (mainly because I think they should add a few more options for tacos), but an A+ for everything else. I wish them well and I will definitely be back!

They are still working out their kinks. Slow service, had to ask for more chips 4 times and they still took forever to bring them out? Guacamole was the only thing edible from what we ordered - esquitas too creamy and the truffle tots completely tasteless; we sent them back. Overpriced, not many available options and very slow service. Would not go back for food but maybe for a drink at the mezcal bar. Disappointing

They are new and figuring out the service. It was a bit slow for sure however the food was amazing and they comped some food for us given the slowness. Definitely would come back!

The effort was very good. Everything seemed freshly made but the results were mostly tepid. Guacamole was watery and pretty tasteless. Too bad because the space is nice and service was pretty good.
