The service was fantastic, great staff. The food was just okay. There was nothing wrong with it, except my egg whites were not fully cooked. But, other than the Brussels app, it wasn’t exceptional either. I didn’t feel like I wasted my money but I probably wouldn’t go back.
We were in the back room so it provided a nice space to be able to have a full conversation with no struggle. Staff was attentive while also giving space, never once had to ask for a refill on water. Really nice ambiance and the food was delicious. Great addition to the city!
Everything from ambiance, service and food was amazing. Highly recommend.
It was our first time here and overall we enjoyed the food we ordered for brunch. Drink prices were a bit high but that’s the trend right now so it’s to be expected. It was the staff that we loved about our experience though. We sat at the bar and our bartenders were very nice and friendly. The wait staff and hostess were also very friendly. Oh, and food and drinks came to us quickly!
So accommodating and took great care of our large boisterous group. Great value & food as well.
Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday, we had never been before. Had a great time with good food and cocktails!
Friendly service and great food!
Some of the food was well prepared and quite tasty while other parts not so much. The real downside was the noise level - it was difficult to carry on a conversation. However, the service was excellent.
Wonderful time there with family and food was incredible!!!
My wife and I had a great experience. We enjoy sitting at the bar and indulging in a slow, multi course dinner. Cyntia, our bartender, was accommodating and gracious. We never felt rushed and food service was timed perfectly.
Falafel waffle was good but very small waffle with a huge mountain of greens. Sweet potato gnocchi was delicious but waaaaaay too much very rich sauce. The rest of the table had salads which were good but nothing special. Service was very slow. We were there more than half an hour before we got our drinks. Overall, disappointing. The menu and reviews looked so good but we were underwhelmed.
Our service was slow, every dish was cold, the burrito was barely stuffed and the tortilla had hardened to the point of being almost un-cuttable, the "runny" egg atop the chicken and biscuits was hard, and the last dish came out significantly after all the others. So disappointing.
I had the sweet potato risotto with pork belly. Absolutely delicious.
Really cool vibes, delicious food, and great location. Everyone was really impressed with the food and we are already talking about going back. The music is definitely loud though, probably too loud for evening dining, but maybe it’s good for night drinking?
Was in town stopped here before flight out and service was outstanding so was the food
So Tasty! Had to order extra appetizers cuz they were delish.
The sweet potato gnocchi was amazing! The interior is nicely decorated and had a great atmosphere.
The food was amazing!!! Definitely would recommend the gnocchi. Service was great and fast. I love when I go to a restaurant and the bartender can meet the needs of the flavor of drink you’re looking for. Going to be back for sure!
Liked the food. Thought the Pear & Goat Cheese salad could have a little less greens, some more Goat Cheese. Service was great !
We had a great experience. Wonderful food, great environment, super fun sparkly candle for a birthday dessert. We will be back
Great food and service with reasonable prices.
You know it’s not a good sign when you have to ask the host stand to send over someone to actually serve you after sitting helplessly for 10 minutes while watching a bunch of servers just stand around. This place is trying to be somewhat upscale but with some of the worst service I’ve experienced at comparable establishments. Just a “hey, what do you want to order?”
Food was actually really good but because of the service I can’t imagine I’ll be returning anytime soon.
Great staff and food
The food was creative and cooked perfectly, and came with perfect cadence. Service was outstanding, and the ambiance was fantastic! Definitely a great spot for a date night in the city!
Wow!!! What an experience! From the food, to the staff, the drinks, we couldn’t have been more impressed!! Coming back soon, that’s for sure.
It was great and they were accommodating. At times the service was slow but overall a great place for a good time!
First time eating here and we will definitely return. Loved everything about the experience except the salad was overdressed - so 4 stars instead of 5.
The charcuterie board was good but over priced for what you get. I only ate half my salmon because half of it was still raw. The shrimp and grits lacked favor. I’ve been dying to go to this place and it let me down big time. I will not be back.
The Open Table menu was more accurate than the download in restaurant. Disappointing.
I enjoyed the setting of the restaurant, the large mirrors, and the bar setup. The server Andrew was very personable, great listener, professional, and attentive to our group needs. The mimosas and Irish coffee was amazing.
Was great ambiance w/ good music, food was good too ordered the salmon w/ wine and enjoyed a blissful evening.
We were celebrating two birthdays and were surprised with sparklers on the dessert. Such a thoughtful touch.
The food and service was amazing. Thanks for a great evening.
Amazing staff and food. No regrets. Beet hummus and Brussels
This place is amazing! The food is delicious, and the mixed drinks are tasty. The sweet potato gnocchi was out of this world, and the American burger had great flavor. The noise level inside can get quite loud. The only complaint from my last visit is our server was pushy in trying to clear us out.
What a great place! The staff was awesome, the wine selection was good, drinks were top notch, and the food was excellent.
The hostess was very nice and professional when we arrived. Had our table ready for us as soon as we walked in. The waitress and staff were extremely helpful and the food came out in great time and was absolutely amazing. Havent had anything from the Ivy or Varleys that I havent liked.
Food was not the best. Directions on what was ordered not followed by kitchen staff.
We were plopped at the high top right next to the front door. Despite my appeal for any alternative, the answer was told no. Cold draft every time the door opened and we were close enough to the entrance to check ids on their behalf. There simply shouldn’t be a table this close to the door and it made the overall experience poor - it was like eating in a busy lobby. But the table wasn’t the only challenge.
Service was ok, server was mostly good but tended to disappear for long stretches (15 minutes or more). Bar service was a joke whether from our failed attempt to even get a drink right from the bar while awaiting our ‘table’ (the bartender didn’t even say hello) or waiting for drinks we ordered at dinner - which mostly came at a snail’s pace.
Food was decent, but nothing special. We shared brussel sprouts, curry mussels, charcuterie board and had seen enough to pass on the entrees, which seemed limited in variety and appeal.
The front desk staff were nice and professional both, considering my frustration and request for a new table, but they were not ultimately helpful.
This will be my last visit to Ivy. There are simply too many alternatives to bother with this one again. This is a 3 star joint posing as 5 star experience - fool me twice…
It was ok wouldn’t go back.
