A great welcome to the west side, great food and even better service. Thank you for opening!
We enjoyed a delicious brunch and can’t wait to return!
Loved Ivory House. Great drinks and amazing food. Noisy and a little chilly. But what a beautiful restaurant. Great attentive service Just what the west side needs
One of the best things was the interior decorating. It’s very fresh with gray tones, and blue tones . The floors have a distressed chocolate gray tone. The geometric shapes on the etched windows was practical for creating a nice view as well as an on trend design feature.
The Ambience with the live piano player on a white grand piano creates a classy relaxing vibe for dinner music. The acoustics in the middle room by the kitchen were a bit challenging because other table conversations could easily drown out your own table. At times I felt like I almost had to yell to be heard. I might lose my voice from trying to keep our conversation going at our dinner table.
Service was very good although we did have to ask for silverware and when we got our french press wonderful coffee with delicious thick cream there weren’t spoons included to stir it up . The food was of a good quality. I told them we would split the Caesar salad but they still brought it in one bowl . I think higher level service during Covid would be to split it for us. But it wasn’t a big deal. I liked the gold flatware. I think that added flair. We had the blueberry dessert which was fantastic served in a novel mini cast-iron skillet accompanied by ice cream. The assistant general manager was very nice and updated us about a new fall menu coming soon which was fantastic hospitality. I definitely want to go back.
I enjoyed my dinner at Ivory House very much. The ambiance, food, and service were all perfect. I would highly recommend dining there.
It was a wonderful meal! Our server was awesome! We were able to take our time, never felt rushed and really enjoyed the ambiance, wine, small plates and meal and dessert!! I can’t wait to go back!!!
We have been looking forward to having dinner at Ivory House. We were so impressed by the decor, food, and service. Everyone was very friendly, and the ambience was very inviting! We loved having the piano music playing in the background as we were dining. This restaurant is truly a gem right there in Westwood. We’ve already booked reservations for our next trip to Ivory House. Thank you and best wishes for every success !!!
Service was incredible and the bolognese was so good we’ve already made plans to go back next week. A special shot out goes the bartender, Linda(?), who crafted the perfect fruity cocktail for me.
I went to Ivory house for brunch and had the Green Benedictine and it was delicious!
We ate brunch in the outdoor area. The menu offered a variety of items, which satisfied everyone in my party. The drinks ranged from fun brunch cocktails to french press coffee to teas. Our servers were very attentive. While I prefer the interior -- the outdoor deck was nice and pleasant. I'll return for more meals.
This was our second time at Ivory House. We are so excited to have this restaurant on the West Side. The food is wonderful and a bonus to many, almost everything on the menu is Gluten Free!
The staff are very friendly and thoughtful. The only negative is the noise level is high. It is difficult to carry on a conversation.
The interior is very well done! We will be back!
The food was incredible, and love supporting Westwood restaurants. Will definitely be back and excited to try the new menu.
We sat at 7:10 (for a reservation at 7:00) and were not served until 8:15. It also took 20 min to for a second glass of wine, and we had to remind the server we had ordered bread.
We enjoyed brunch on the patio, and would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Food and service were both great. There was a DJ there the day we went, which was a bit unexpected, but fun and we will definitely be back to try the dinner menu!
Very nice: service, atmosphere, food and upcoming investment area
We dined at Ivory House on Friday evening, we had reservations to sit on the patio. When we arrived there was a line at the door, but their were two host & a manager seating people so we didn’t wait very long. We ordered my favorite bottle of wine & cocktails. The Death Valley Manhattan & Margarita were both perfect . We ordered multiple small plates and even with the limited menu they have a good amount of gluten free options which I loved. Now the reason I’m rating the restaurant a four is because when our entrees came out I ordered the Bouillabaisse which is basically a bunch of seafood in a broth. My prawn was not cleaned and the overall taste of the dish was almost dirty seafood. Our server did a perfect job taking it away and apologizing , and then offered us a dessert. Five stars to the gluten free dessert menu the blueberry streusel was amazing. We will be returning and we can’t wait to have brunch soon.
So happy to have this lovely, inventive restaurant in Westwood! Beautiful decor, top notch service, fantastic wine, delicious food.
My main complaint is the menu. It's very unorthodox and what we had was not good.
However, I would compliment them on the ambiance as the place is very lovely.
Food and service were wonderful. Ambience is also nice. I prefer quality over quantity and Ivory House fits the bill. Second time I’ve been there and hope to visit again soon.
Beautifully restored building with a great interior. However, we had a difficult time finding something to eat as the menu is quite limited and some of the dishes were not of interest to us.
Everything we had was absolutely amazing. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!
The food was delicious and all Covid related precautions were maintained. It was a wonderful and safe night out.
Another very nice brunch. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive. Quickly has become our favorite restaurant.
You must try the deconstructed root beer float for dessert.
Great food might of been the best Frisco melt I've ever had! great service I'll be back.
From the delicious & creative appetizers to the beautifully plated main courses, the entire experience was GREAT. Dana, the chef comes to your table and comments & expands on his culinary presentations. I personally had the pork tenderloin & pork belly entree (I love pork belly). This was the best pork belly that I have ever eaten plus the pork tenderloin was fantastic. I am not exaggerating. This is our 2nd visit to Ivory House in last 3 weeks and we will be back. I must add the decor is beautiful and a white baby grand player piano adds music to the evening. A great 75th birthday dinner.
My over all rating of 4 instead of a 5 was because we both had the filet. The taste was
good but the stake was very chewy. Over all we enjoyed the night.

Wow! What a wonderful new restaurant in Cincinnati! Every dish was a culinary delight! The Shrimp and Grits small plate had a smoky, comfort food feel. The agnolotti brought together ricotta, pasta, and peas surrounded by a savory cream sauce to die for. These combined with the equally delicious scallop crudo, heirloom tomato salad and BBQ quail made for a dinner to satisfy any palette looking for everything good that can be done with food. All his was followed by the best cheesecake ever. This was not your classic American cheesecake which can be dense and over sweet in my opinion. This cheesecake was light and just sweet enough to top off an amazing meal of thoughtful ingredients and flavors that will make you want more.
They were also very thoughtful regarding all our Covid concerns.
Ivory House needs to be on your list of restaurants to experience!
We. heard this place was the bomb, and it completely lived up to the hype. We celebrated our anniversary here, and each staff person wished us a Happy Anniversary. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. The food was extremely inventive, with flavor combinations I’ve never encountered before. The tables were all socially distanced and there was also a newly completed outdoor seating area. Definitely check this place out for a unique night out in Westwood!
We had high hopes but unfortunately were very disappointed. Two of our party had the filets and the meat was very tough. Neither finished their entrees. Another two split two small plates. The Shrimp and Grits were wonderful however you had to dig in the sauce and remove the shell from the Shrimp prior to eating. Not an dish to order if you are concerned about Covid. The Wagyu Melt was good. The staff was very attentive and offered to replace the two entrees but it was late and then declined. We really wanted to love this restaurant as this type of dining is sorely needed on the west side. The owners went to a lot of expense as the restaurant is beautiful. We're hoping they'll work the issues out with the menu.
The food and service were excellent, however the portions were on the small side. Drinks were strong. With that said, I would definitely go back.
The food and service are spectacular. Very creative dishes without the trendy and typical mash up of random ingredients. Lots of locally sourced items and an extensive wine list. Have been there 4 times since they opened, dinner and bunch, I'll keep going back!
We went for brunch. Food was amazing!
I loved the unique menu
food and drinks were extremely tasty.
sharables were too small to share
ordered two g&t's and one was a five oz glass, the other an 8 oz glass
service (Morgan) was great but entree order was lost and we had to wait
received apologize but no comping of anything
Frank, one of the owners was very hospitable and enjoyed speaking with him
glad we experienced this, but cost was on the high end vs the value
Food was delicious! Nice quiet atmosphere, beautiful live piano music. Great date night spot!
Very limited menu.
Prices don't reflect the mediocre food.
Need to bring servers up to date on what they are serving.
Also, let people relax at and learn to clear a table properly, when flatware is removed, one should not have to ask to have it replaced.
Management needs to work on service training if they want to succeed especially if they wish to have white table service.
Best brunch we have had in a long time in Cincinnati! Excellent, delicious, creative entrees. Great service! Owner Frank Eversole and Executive chef Dana Adkins made it a point to stop at the table (more than once) to chat and ask how the food was. We will definitely be having brunch there a few times a month!
Almost forgot,...the french press coffee is the BEST coffee I have ever had. I will be the first in line to purchase it if they ever decide to sell their special blend!!
Brunch was excellent. Generous portions, the food was fresh and a unique twist on some favorite breakfast foods!!!
