Ate in the cafe area on a Saturday night. Fun atmosphere, piano player was fun and music after he was finished playing was also a great mood setter. Service was excellent and food was very good.
We had an awesome experience and a great night out at Forty Deuce Cafe! The food was tasty and the drinks were on point with great service from the staff and Ivan himself! We will be back soon!!
Good atmosphere, food and service!
Service was a bit slow considering there were only 2 tables occupied on a early Sunday afternoon. Upon walking in we noticed the music was really loud we could hardly hear the waiter talking. Neal, a young man serviced us..very polite. However you could tell he was inexperienced. We also noticed his nails were pretty dirty and there was a time our waiter was cleaning off dirty tissues and plates from another table and placing the menus back into a stack without sanitizing them. We politely asked him to wash his hands before grabbing our food that had been sitting underneath the heat lamp for a while. He did wash his hands and place gloves on to serve our food but then also touched menus, rang something up in the register etc. During this pandemic it’s important to train staff how to properly use PPE especially with patrons like us who want to support restaurants and come dine in. I don’t blame the young man. I blame it on the manager on duty at that time for lack of training the staff and attentiveness. Speaking of which she should know not to wear her mask underneath her nose. It defeats the purpose of the mask.
In all the food was decent, the shakes are excellent. However with the many choices of burger joints around Easton this wouldn’t be our go to place anytime soon.
My boyfriend and I went there as a first night out in a while. Neither of us have ever been there and we loved it. The burgers were outstanding. The Bridge and Tunnel Shake was amazing and the cake was very fresh. Not only did it look amazing but many head turns as they brought it out to us.
