It’s was our first visit and our server David was informative but slow to service us due to outside patrons. I think we were forgotten about.
When I placed my order I specifically asked for the 42 sauce on the side not knowing if I’d like it and sure enough it was ON THE BURGER!!!! Attention to small details was ignored!
But overall the food was good, the establishment upbeat and location Outstanding
Waited in line forever just to checkin with the hostess. Service was awful. They were out of things on the menu. Food was average. The sundaes looked awesome, but weren’t anything special beyond that. I can see this place having a lot of potential, but it really missed the mark the evening we went.
Overpriced hamburger joint. Expected more of a night club feel and live music, but it was lots of kids, expensive hamburgers and shakes in the cafe, limited alcohol choices. Very crowded for COVID protocols.
Our cafe is not a night club. It is a place for the community to gather and we encourage families to bring their children as our milkshakes almost guarantee a smile on a little one's face. We were on an hour wait the night you dined due to restaurant week, and yes, ran out of a few items. As small businesses struggle to stay open, please don't indicate that we weren't following Covid precautions. We take our social responsibility seriously and have gone above and beyond CDC guidelines.
I really wanted to love this place because of the theme and the amazing pictures of the menu items. It turns out that the best thing about the place is the ambience and the milkshakes. The rest of the food is subpar and does not look anything like the pictures. We ordered burgers and a chicken kids meal for our daughter. The burger was deflated and looked like It had been sitting in the window for 20 minutes. Everything was too salty and overcooked. My daughters chicken fingers and fries meal were fairly hard. Barely any chicken just breading and hard french fries.
On the plus side, it is very energetic and the theme is unique. The milkshakes have a wow factor. However, they are $15 each. Be prepared to unload $100 for a couple of burgers and two milkshakes.
Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It's so unfortunate to hear of your recent experience with us. I would like to invite you back to give us a second chance, as we really do strive to provide outstanding food.
The service was really great! Can't wait to go back and experience the burlesque show!
Cute spot for a date and they’re alcoholic beverages hit the spot!
Hi there! Thank you for the five stars! We are striving to deliver the perfect experience to everyone who chooses us. We are so grateful for your business, hope to see you back soon!
I loved Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce. This was out first time there, checking them out during restaurant week. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable, not too noisy but there was still an energy about the place. Food is delicious! Known for their burgers and shakes. Both are tasty and huge. One of the best, juiciest burgers I’ve ever had. And their shakes are a meal of themselves. Will definitely return.
Hi Emily!! Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to support us with a five star review! We are so happy you enjoyed your visit with us! Hope to see you again soon!
From the minute that we walked in the door the customer service was outstanding! While waiting for the rest of our party, Nate at the bar, offered lots of suggestions and great conversation. Michelle, one of the night club dancers, talked up the upcoming Halloween show with lots of excitment Our waiter, David service was spot on as well. Easy to rate our experience as the customer service, amazing food, and overall ambience was 5 star!
We are extremely grateful for reviews like this! Thank you for mentioning the name of our team members! We are blessed to have such a great team with us! Hope to see you again soon!
Attended for restaurant week. They got a few orders wrong and some of the women that served our table had facial expressions that were inappropriate as if we irritated them that the order was wrong. The gentleman was perfect and made the experience better.
Creepy. We saw families with little kids enjoying shakes, so we thought this was a casual, family friendly place. Nope. Girls perform a strip-tease upstairs, not that we went to that, but the dancers came down for a drink at the bar in between shows, wearing t-shirts over their costumes. Makes me sad that these young women focus so much on their sex appeal and are feeding a culture of lust.
Thank you for this opportunity to educate you on the ART of Burlesque. It is a respected platform for women to feel empowered and have the freedom to express their femininity. It is taught around the country for women who want to improve their body confidence and how they feel about themselves. It takes an incredible amount of body strength and endurance to execute this form of dance. Please don't feel pity for our performers as they are both very established and successful young women. Cheers!
First time stopping by and the burgers were fantastic. I went with the Broadway because who wouldn’t want a cheeseburger with bacon and bbq potato chips on it?? #42 sauce was off the charts and we skipped on the reason everyone goes there for the milkshakes. Gives us a reason to go back!
This is such an awesome review! We can't wait till your try one of our famous sky scraper milk shakes!
The service was awesome nothing bad to say about it! The the food was good but was definitely over priced for what it was.
Hi Andi, Thank you for your feedback! We recently updated our prices to include fries and tots and are still looking for more ways to make it more affordable for our valued guests during this difficult time. Hope we can earn our fifth star on your next visit. Stay safe and well!
Awesome experience !!
Hi there! So glad you had an awesome experience! Thank you for the great review and showing your support!
Food wasn’t that great and overpriced.
The drinks we ordered were great though
We found the beverage menu to be lame, the tater tots were way to salty and the music was way too loud to hold conversation.
Slow service, not sure who’s fault it was, but they did adjust our bill. Food was very average for the price.

Ate in the cafe area on a Saturday night. Fun atmosphere, piano player was fun and music after he was finished playing was also a great mood setter. Service was excellent and food was very good.
Hi there! We are so happy to hear of your recent experience at Forty Deuce! Thank you so much for the great review!
We had an awesome experience and a great night out at Forty Deuce Cafe! The food was tasty and the drinks were on point with great service from the staff and Ivan himself! We will be back soon!!
Good atmosphere, food and service!
Service was a bit slow considering there were only 2 tables occupied on a early Sunday afternoon. Upon walking in we noticed the music was really loud we could hardly hear the waiter talking. Neal, a young man serviced us..very polite. However you could tell he was inexperienced. We also noticed his nails were pretty dirty and there was a time our waiter was cleaning off dirty tissues and plates from another table and placing the menus back into a stack without sanitizing them. We politely asked him to wash his hands before grabbing our food that had been sitting underneath the heat lamp for a while. He did wash his hands and place gloves on to serve our food but then also touched menus, rang something up in the register etc. During this pandemic it’s important to train staff how to properly use PPE especially with patrons like us who want to support restaurants and come dine in. I don’t blame the young man. I blame it on the manager on duty at that time for lack of training the staff and attentiveness. Speaking of which she should know not to wear her mask underneath her nose. It defeats the purpose of the mask.
In all the food was decent, the shakes are excellent. However with the many choices of burger joints around Easton this wouldn’t be our go to place anytime soon.
My boyfriend and I went there as a first night out in a while. Neither of us have ever been there and we loved it. The burgers were outstanding. The Bridge and Tunnel Shake was amazing and the cake was very fresh. Not only did it look amazing but many head turns as they brought it out to us.
