   Outstanding in all aspects. Hands down the best place to eat on Beale Street. (Nothing else is remotely close.) And, to my surprise, one of the best restaurants in all of downtown Memphis. A true hidden gem. Looking forward to going back.

   Upscale Southern food that is absolutely delicious! Each and every item we ordered was fabulous. From the Caesar salad to the She-Crab Soup, followed by the Pan Roasted Chicken stuffed with herbed cream cheese, and the exquisite Shrimp and Grits, everything was just superb. Cocktails were served in frosty cold cocktail glasses as they should be. The environment is really pleasant and relaxing - a live pianist and guitar player accompanied our dinner. Service was on point, professional and timed perfectly. Don’t miss having fine Southern cuisine at Itta Bena while in Memphis!

   Historic building on a historic street which was nice to experience. Food was very average but costly. Hostess was very friendly while waitress was uninterested. Would not be rushing back there and cannot understand the level of high praise in reviews.

   Beautiful and classy place. Loved the grits and salmon dish. The smoky old fashion cocktail was quite a fun presentation and Lauren and all the staff were wonderful. Tricky to find but look for the blue awning.
