   We really enjoyed our visit. The location isn’t marked, but honestly that’s part of the fun. It is a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. We had a great waiter. Service was quick and the food was excellent. Large portions for a reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit.

   Chris our waiter was top notch and make sure you get to use the back stairs to the BB king club downstairs afterwards. Great place and food is fantastic

   The smoked cocktails were very unique and delicious! The ambiance was intimate for a date night. Get the signature shrimp appetizer. The Abita beer bread will haunt my dreams it was so good.

    You just have to find it! A totally hidden gem of a restaurant! There is no sign anywhere to tell you where to go, just look for the blue awning on 2nd Street, above BB kings. Service was perfect and the food outstanding. The rustic atmosphere makes you feel like you're in an old speakeasy. Shrimp and grits were absolutely delicious and the steak was cooked to perfection. Will go back!

    This was my 4th time being at Itta Bena! It’s a beautiful restaurant with the most amazing food I have ever had. I had the New Zealand Lamb with Parmesan risotto, a wedge salad and the BBQ Shrimp. Every single item was perfect. The drinks were amazing. Jessica was our server and she was phenomenal! She made the experience very welcoming and was perfect!

    We had dinner at Itta Bena while visiting Memphis and loved it! The food was great. Our server, Travis, was attentive and helpful. The ambience was awesome. We were very pleased. While it is a bit expensive, as a special outing it was perfect! Highly recommend.

    The most important thing to us is consistency! And every visit to Itta Bena is consistently delicious, relaxing, and enjoyable. From the drinks, the meal, the dessert to the atmosphere and music, we are never disappointed! We will stop in every time we are in Memphis!

    Food, wine, service, ambience, live music, and dessert were all amazing! We spent a lot but it was more than worth it. Definitely lives up to the hype. Only thing is I wish there was a better cocktail menu, but we ended up getting a great bottle of wine.

    overpriced, mediocre food. the caesar salad was flavorless, the shrimp and grits tried too hard, and the chicken was stuffed with gross cheese. waiter not attentive or friendly. best part of the meal was the pretzel buns. only perk is being able to access the bb king blues club.

    We had an amazing dinner and drinks before going to the Orpheum. The ambiance, service and food set the tone for the night. The prices for the entrees are not for the faint of heart or pocket. But the Itta Bena dining experience reinforces you get what you pay for!

    This is a very good restaurant. The BLT salad is great, and the salmon and the cajun pasta are very good. There are several specialty drinks which were great too.

    Overpriced for the quality and preparation—-food not prepared as asked, mediocre lamb chops, desserts average. Good cocktails and ambience and service was reasonable. Nice alternative to most of Beale St but would look elsewhere in Memphis for fine dining value.

    My food was delicious, but I became very, very sick afterwards. It could have been the mushroom soup or the stuffed chicken herb cream cheese. I wanted to love this place, but after the night I had, I will not be going back. My husband had the short ribs which was very good and he experienced no problems.

    An upscale meal in a speakeasy-like environment, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Field green salad, crab soup, lamb chops and salmon were enjoyed by my group, and all received rave reviews.
