Whether entering from our private Second Street entrance or walking through the secret hall from inside B.B. King's Blues Club, Itta Bena is sure to capture your senses.                     Shrimp and grits outstanding, my husband had the Cajun pasta which was almost too much for him, delicious but a lot of food, but could not resist the crème brûlée

                    Date night with my wife! Itta Bena did not disappoint. She crab soup was delicious. My wife had shrimp & grits and I had the lamb chops (medium rare). Great char and cooked to perfection. Crème Brûlée for desert. Was a great night.

                    Booked this for our anniversary and requested the small private room for 2. The plate portions here are hefty so we skipped appetizers and went straight to entrees. We had the shrimp and grits and the pork chop. Both excellent! Our server was nice, friendly, and everything was brought to us promptly. It was a wonderful night out!

                    Overall a pleasant surprise in an otherwise rough area being Beale street A little hard to find (address is Beale street but access is actually down 2nd Ave then left st a blue awning then upstairs), but thereafter the experience was good Attentive staff, well prepared and served meals, reasonable pricing, all in a pleasant room with plenty of customers but little noise Well worth the effort
