Located on the third floor of B.B. King's Blues Club overlooking historic Beale Street you will find Itta Bena "A unique delta experience". Whether entering from our private Second Street entrance or walking through the secret hall from inside B.B. King's Blues Club, Itta Bena is sure to capture your senses. The experience is further heightened when you step inside and find yourself surrounded by rich wood floors, vaulted ceilings, deep golden hued chandeliers and the faint sound of the bustling street below.                     The entire experience was outstanding. Our server Mattie, was a delight and attentive. Had the crab stuffed shrimp and tomahawk pork chop with sweet potato casserole and amazing brussel sprouts. We are local and will absolutely be back!

                    John should teach a class on superb service. The offerings, his recommendations. were excellent. While we visited to celebrate a milestone, we look forward to visiting on a random day just for fun in the future.

                    A hidden gem! We had a recommendation from some friends to try this restaurant and it exceeded all our expectations. The food and service were first-rate. Loved the access to BB Kings.

                    We asked for a quiet table and got a lovely little room for ourselves. The waiter brought us champagne to celebrate our anniversary. All the food was truly excellent The crab stuffed avocado was delicious and most unusual. The caprese salad, excellent. For mains I had the short ribs. Beautifully prepared with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. An overall taste sensation. My husband had the Cajun noodles with three meats, sort of a jambalaya. Really delicious. Overall, this was our best meal in Memphis. Excellent food, service, and ambience.

                    Outstanding in all aspects. Hands down the best place to eat on Beale Street. (Nothing else is remotely close.) And, to my surprise, one of the best restaurants in all of downtown Memphis. A true hidden gem. Looking forward to going back.
