The hardest part is picking what to eat. Everything is made on the spot in the kitchen. Very willing to change or customize the dish. Always accommodates allergies with confidence. Chicken marsala is awesome as well as the lasagna!
Disappointed! I was expecting an upscale dining experience. The food was mediocre and the service was as bare minimum as possible. The server had zero personality and never checked on until the meal was over and she was looking for a dessert order.
We have been twice in the past month, and are looking forward to our next visit. This place is really good!
Great food, wine, beer, and service. We love their food and could make a meal of the Italianissimo Chop Salad. We really do love their food. Service is warm and inviting. This is truly a neighborhood gem!
My wife and I love this place for many reasons. The first is the food. We have eaten here many times and the food is always fantastic. Well prepared, served and tasty. Next, the service has always been exceptional, with knowledgeable waitstaff and great recommendations for dishes. I always get a gluten free pasta dish (a well-made penna with different preparations each time). The bar and drink menu is just right as is the wine selection. The bartenders here know how to make the perfect Vesper and traditional martinis. We will continue to return as often as possible.
This has been one of our favorites for 15 + years.... the quality and consistency has notably changed in the last year or so. This last experience the chop salad seemed old and was always a favorite as well as the Gorgonzola pasta dish- didn't taste the Gorgonzola--was much more of an alfredo ... a bit disappointed with a place that had always exceeded excellence.
We went for my moms birthday. Food was very good as was the wine.
My impression was that this was a good neighborhood Italian restaurant. I’d suggest updating the wall art, menu format, and a bit of polishing for the wait staff. The restaurant was very busy, but very loud too. If a sound reduction solution was made, then ambiance would feel more personal, more date worthy. Other than those criticisms the food and service was pretty good.
Fantastic food. Waitress not at all friendly or welcoming.
Great neighborhood atmosphere and great food. Always a reliable dining experience.
Always great -- we love this restaurant. The only reason I provided 4 stars rather than 5 for the food is that I am vegan.. not too many options, but great marinara sauce for whatever pasta I choose.
As usual the food was fantastic and the wait staff met our every expectation. Love this restaurant.
First visit here. Great food, quiet ambience, attentive service. We'll certainly return.
Great Italian food, good wine list, food is always consistent. Wait staff is very friendly. Excellent value.
Truly exceptional food and wine list. They were also very helpful accommodating a no-carb diet, by exchanging rice/pasta with a bed of spinach. The staff are friendly, professional and seem happy in their jobs.
Our server was Danielle. She seemed arrogant and not warm and welcoming. We had to ask for things she should have offered , I.e., bread, butter. Bread plates were part of our place settings when we arrived but not once did she ask if we wanted it. When we asked , it arrived with our main entrees. In most restaurants, Bread is usually snacked on when waiting for the main course to be served.
We chose Biscotti for dessert and when it was served, we each received one small biscotti. The portion was stingy.
Always top notch service and food consistency. Great wine selection. Love garlic? Ask for it with your bread. Comes in I’ve oil. Never have to ask for anything. They just show up and ask or deliver. Yum!
We just love eating at Italianissimo. We have never had a bad experience there!!
I hate to give Italianissimo a good review because I do not want to share this place with everyone. It is getting more popular than when I first went there and it is easy to understand why; excellent food, good prices, great service and robust portions. So, begrudgingly, I have to say that Italinaissimo is a wonderful restaurant and it is a "default" place for my wife and I when we want to have dinner out, be it just the two of us or with a group. Go there. Get their fish dishes. I find that their fish is better prepared than many seafood specialty restaurants in Seattle. Get the pasta too. Heck, order anything because it is all excellent. Bon appetit!
Although it is farther from our house than many of the restaurants we go to, we love this restaurant and brought friends with us this time. They enjoyed it as well.
If you're looking for a neighborhood Italian restaurant with predictable food, this is an OK place. The food is fair -- the dining room reminded me of a retirement home.
It was a pleasant meal and atmosphere.
Food was great. Our waitress seemed like she did not want to be there.
Second time there in the last three months.
Enjoyable early evening dinner. I thought the taste this time was a little bland and my wife and friend said the same thing. We will likely be back again in the next 3 months to try again.
This has been my Favorite restaurant for 10 years. So lucky to have such wonderful food so close to home.
Exceptional food, great service, relaxing ambiance
My wife and I have been to Italianissimo at least a dozen times now over the past year, and it’s hands-down our fave!
The food quality feels like you’ve transported to someone’s home in Italy. The pasta is made fresh, and every dish we’ve tried is creative and wonderful. Creative risotto dishes, lasagne with pasta that’s light and delicate, Eggplant Parmigiana with loads of al dente eggplant, and meat dishes prepared juicy and delicious. The staff are friendly and attentive but relaxed. Joan is our favorite - she makes us feel like family, but even the staff pouring water will stop and engage. The wine list has a nice selection of Italian wines, as well as a broad selection of some of the best Washington and west coast wines, all at what I consider very fair prices. Friday and Saturday evenings get crowded, so reservations are helpful.
Excellent food - love the Friday sausage - service was exceptional. Very comfortable for a group of 8 - enough space, yet you could carry on a conversation with everyone.
We treated ourselves to a dinner celebrating my birthday.
Wife had a stuffed tortellini or something akin. She enjoyed the non-meat dish and would order it again.
I had a sirloin which was not memorable. A little too much gristle and fat for an Italianissimo dish. I would not order this dish again.
We have eaten at Italianissimo over two dozen times. It is our go to restaurant for value and enjoyment.
Food and service was fantastic. It was Uncomfortably warm for some reason. The server also said something about it. We will be back.
As usual this restaurant does not disappoint, their food and service are great.
Delicious food, first place that doesn't pore salt over everything, pasta is outstanding, the children's dishes were very tasty, the filet was incredible, service was really nice, I was not expecting such a delicious meal from a spontaneous google search :)
It is pretty fancy, yet very delicious and anyone can find something in the menu. Definitely returning there.
Our server was great. The pizza was ok. The Rockfish was pretty good, however the pasta was a disappointment. It did not taste homemade as claimed to be. It was penne, soft, not al dente and the sauce was watery. Decent beer and wine list. For the price I expected a little more.
I have driven past the restaurant for years, and it just worked out be a perfect location to meet for dinner with a friend. It was awesome and I will definitely come back.
We absolutely loved the mixed cocktails, spot on! The dinner was just OK this time
It's definitely a locals hangout, patrons VERY casually dressed. The food was pedestrian, but acceptable given entrees were 20 to 25 dollars.
Pleasantly surprised to find this awesome Italian restaurant in Woodinville. I would highly recommend it. The food was great and service was excellent!
Our family all love the food and ambiance. The food has been consistent even with the change of ownership.
We anticipated a great experience after dining here last year and they didn’t disappoint. Our waiter recommended a bottle of wine that was delicious and also told us of a special Italian sausage that he liked.it was excellent! Whenever in Woodinville this is our go to and there’s some competition. We live in leavenworth and have great restaurants but italianissimmo is fantastic!
Great service, amazing food, large portions wouldn't change anything. Happy customer. Will be returning with friends.
