Great experience all around.
Food and service are always consistently great. We have tried many different items from the menu and have never been disappointed. We've introduced friends and family to the restaurant and all have loved it.
Parking is horrible - always. Snow made it worse but even in the summer parking is the worst.
It's a really busy restaurant on Valentine's day. Good environment, good lighting, quiet, really suitable for a date night. The food is decent, the only regret is that they don't have the entree I wanted the most. It's a very good experience overall, we had a great time.
Only complaint is re: parking. It was quite a challenge due to the snow and that the snow was pushed up into the front of parking spaces making them much shorter. Even the small cars were having trouble getting in and out of the spaces. We noticed quite a few empty tables and wondered if people went elsewhere because they couldn’t find a place to park.
Nice place for Italian locally, good menu. Bread was hard set at table and there was not much of a server welcome. I think our server said two words to us and it was Valentine's day. may her bad day, no smile. I felt like she was mad we had our kids there though they did great. we tried to hand our menu to her, she was already gone.
Scallops were good but really not a well balanced plate, too much pasta. Kids pizza was normal. my husband liked his lasagna. She advised me getting salad would be too much food but at least it would have offset rich cream scallops.
I remember it being so much better a year ago.
Had a wonderful Valentines Day dinner. I like that they don’t overbook, so wait staff is attentive and food is always very good.
Awesome food, staff and service
Love this place. Best happy hour around. Calamari steak is fantastic. A paesana pizza goes into the oven upon every arrival. My wife loves the chopped salad more than me, I think.
Consistently high quality food; great service. The calimari was cooked perfectly, but maybe a bit too much lemon. Love the chop salad.
Our first visit to Italianissimo! From the front desk to those that cleared dishes and poured water, everything was excellent. Our waitperson Jeff and his co-staff, even at their busiest on a Saturday night, were friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. Our food could not have been better! It was a lovely evening. We plan to return.
WE love Italianissimo and eat here regularly. We use it as our go to place to take visitors to for dinner and last night was such an occasion. All liked there dinners and wine. The Ossobucco and Veal Marsala were particularly good.
Food is not good.
We will definitely be back. Food and service, excellent!
My wife and I have eaten here many times and have always had great food and service. This last time was anything but that.
The Osso Bucco over a bed of risotto was extremely bland and sauce they poured over it was way too much and as thin as water. It basically turned the risotto into a bland rice soup.
My wife had got the minestrone soup I believe it was. It too was really bland. It tasted as if was just made and hadn't been given a chance to develop flavor.
These are definitely going on the do not order again list if we go back.
This is our 3rd time there. We took 2 couples with us who had never eaten there and they LOVED it!
There is a great menu with something that will appeal to almost everyone.
There is a nice "burn" to a couple of menu items which adds a nice touch. Portions are generous, which required a couple of boxes to bring the left overs home.
We brought our own wine which adds a $20 corkage fee. Standard for this area. We ordered another bottle from their wine list to supplement.
Dinner lasted almost 2-1/2 hours. Mains arrived around 45 minutes after placing our order, so don't arrive famished!
We were seated in a less-than-luxurious section of the building. Definitely felt like we were a bit isolated from the "action". To be fair, we requested a quiet area when making our reservations. With the acoustic ceiling tiles and drab decor, it felt like we were in an older steak house.
We will definitely return, but will request seating in the main area for a bit better ambiance.
We went for dinner at Italianissimo proir to a movie in Woodinville. The food was excellent. We had one small hiccup in service, as an appetizer was missed being delivered with our calamari (we wanted an order of meatballs and calamari) - it was corrected and they provided us with the meatballs to go and free of charge. When mistakes happen, it is understood and they went above and beyond to correct and make sure our dining experience was enjoyable. I plan on going back again sometime soon.
Beautiful ambiance and excellent food!
My wife and I have been here many times and enjoy the whole experience. It is our go to restaurant for reasonably priced traditional Italian. This time was 3 days after new years day and they were out of several of our planned dinner choices.... That was a big disappointment and annoying since they had time to get restocked. And after not having fully 3 of our choices I would have thought they would offer a freeby of something to compensate, but no. But we found alternatives and enjoyed our evening. We will still go back.
Annual Team dinner
This was our 7th New Years time. Service always top notch, well staffed & knowledgeable. Menu & new years special is a great variety. Food always served in a timely manner & Hot!
We also go several other times during the year. They should have a rewards program as they seldom ever disappoint.
They need to go back to having there outside patio open for happy hour food in the summer months!!!
My husband and I have been dining here for years and noticed the quality of food has gone down significantly. For instance, my husband ordered spaghetti & meatballs and what he received was not appetizing at all, it looked like our dogs raw food on top of spaghetti with what it appeared to be liquid brown sauce on the bottom. It was so bad, we had them take it back... he lost his appetite and dis not want to order another dish. We probably will not be returning due to the poor quality of food. This was so disappointing😥
We had a nice dinner in the small side room. Great food and drinks.
Great for a date or a friend date. A bit pricey for a family dinner but really good.
This was my third time dining at Italianissimo and each visit provided us with delicious food. The hay straw pasta with peas, pancetta, and mushrooms in cream sauce is divine (had it twice), spaghettini Bolognese was incredible, and the Friday night housemade Italian sausage dinner did not disappoint. So far all the other guests who we've invited to join us have left happy and full. Highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back for sure because we can't wait to try meatball Monday :-)
First time visitor. Food outstanding. Service impeccable (Adrian was amazing). Felt like we were in a Tuscan villa.
Our reservation was for Dec. 23rd at 1:15pm. When we got there, there was no-one at the front desk and we had to wait for someone to seat us. It took ONE HOUR and about 20 MINUTES from the time we ordered our meal until the time we received the meal. Unacceptable!! There was no-one in the bar and maybe 4 other tables seated so not a real busy time. I'm not sure if there were private parties in the back that were taking up the servers/cooks time but we were so disappointed in our experience -- especially since we took friends there after raving about the place. It would have also been nice if our server would have apologized for the wait or explained why it was taking so long but he just left us sitting there. In hindsight, we should have walked out but kept thinking that surely the food would be arriving soon. We are not impressed and will not recommend Italianissimo to our friends. Barbara Maki
Excellent Italian food and wine list, including many local wines. House made meatballs on Mondays, house made sausage on Fridays, house made gelato, flavors vary. Dining room seating, bar seating and private rooms for parties. We had the veal piccata and the pork tenderloin medallions with bourbon sauce, both were excellent.
We always enjoy going to Italianissimo. The service is great. The ambience is wonderful and the food is out of this world.
We love this place. As usual, the Osso Bucco was excellent, as was the veal Marsala. I always order the angle hair pasta with my veal Marsala instead of the veggies. Delicious. And kudos to the bartender for my perfect Manhattan.
Stored our birthday cake and helped with plates!
The Osso Buco was melt in your mouth tender and falling off the bone. Delicious!
After living in Northern Italy for 3 years I searched Washington for authentic Italian cuisine. That search ended when I found Italianissimo. This is the best most authentic Italian restaurant outside the boot!
Always enjoy this spot for lunch or dinner. Quiet with good menu choices.
Great evening, but miss their amazing chop salad! Darn that romaine! This is Avery special family place. We love it!
Great food and the waiter let me change my plate up a bit, so I got to semi-custom order it. Attentive service but not too much. Great cocktails too!
We went here for my wife's birthday. As usual the food and service was outstanding. Look forward to going back soon.
A great experience with wonderful service and excellent quality food. Fairly quiet and very authentic Italian food.
Always love Italianissimo! The homemade ravioli is the best. Love the chop salad and the wilted spinach salad. Calamari steak is nice for something different. Great wine list.
Birthday dinner was great as always!
