Not sure what happened. No one was there. When I called the company they weren't sure of this tour and another started at another location . This tour needs to be disabled on Open table .

I loved the Italian Food Walking Tour in Dupont Circle. Dave was very knowledgeable about the food, restaurants, and the area architecture. The food at each restaurant was simple and the courses complimented each other. The wild mushroom risotto first course and lasagna were my favorite courses. We had a nice variety of old established restaurants and one newer trendier place on the tour. I would definitely go back to each of them. It was a filling afternoon, but walking a few blocks between locations helped to burn off some of the calories! Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for a leisurely afternoon of eating and meeting new people.

Food was very good and large enough portions. Last stop was unable to seat us, so we ate outside on sidewalk. Information about food and restaurants was interesting. Would suggest guide invest in a Fodor's or similar guide book to come up with more interesting facts about area.

We went on the Mangia walking tour on March 13 and had a wonderful time. Even though we are locals, the tour took us to restaurants we've never been to before, and learned a lot about the city and local landmarks that we didn't already know. We stopped at four restaurants along with a few D.C. landmarks for our tour. In total it took about three hours and the food at each stop was delicious. We enjoyed classics such as lasagna and margherita pizza. We never felt rushed at any of the stops and we were able to enjoy our food and learn more about the restaurant and the area. Our tour guides were personable and very friendly. They were knowledgeable about the restaurants and landmarks and always tried to throw in something fun at each location. We would definitely recommend this food tour for anyone, especially for locals who want to entertain guests from out of town.

The Mangia Italian Food Tour in Dupont Circle is a great experience for everyone! The tour guides are personable and ensure outstanding service at all the locations you visit. This is my second time on the tour and it keeps getting better. I especially appreciate the consideration given for food allergies. The tastings at each location are quite filling. You definitely leave the tour full of delicious food (risotto, pizza, lasagna, and cannoli!). I would most definitely recommend this tour to others - whether you're a local or visiting. I've been living in the area for years and it was great to hear more about some of the history of places that I walk every day.
