I had a pizza, tasted like something you would get at a deli counter in Sainsbury's.

Food was lovely and the staff friendly and helpful... service was a bit slow as only 1 waiter was working and it was a Saturday evening. Even one of the chefs was serving the tables but we still enjoyed our experience and would go again if we are in the area again.

First time to the restaurant and had a fantastic evening. Food was really good and great value. The restaurant is ran by a family who made our evening, they were fantastic hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed the night ! Would highly recommend

My initial reaction was how very small and narrow the space was, not much room for too many people. However, if you look beyond this, you will find excellent food, very good service and very good value. If you're a steak lover the 1kg t-bone is excellent and very tasty. Would recommend but I suggest booking in advance to avoid disappointment as there's not a large amount of seating available.

This is a great locally owned restaurant. Service was fast and friendly, the food was great and very reasonable, and the drinks were wonderful. We were there off from tourist season and on a quiet night so the owner, Max, had some time to spend with us. We grew to love his restaurant and made a great friend. We work hard to find local owners of establishments when we travel. The corporates have gotten very good at making pubs and cafes look local. This one is the real deal. You won't be disappointed.

I booked the table for a date, but when we arrived it turned out they knew noting about the booking. Instead of sitting I by a nice table out of the way, we had to sit at the front, right by the window. Not romantic at all.

Booked a table after a recommendation. We were visiting Windsor for a birthday treat. We were greeted by Max the owner, he was wonderful, friendly, attentive and a very interesting character. The food was wonderful. Freshly cooked, plentiful and delicious. Prices were very reasonable ( And I was presented with a yummy birthday cake as he overheard it was my 60th!) Lovely touch! We will be back when next visiting the area. Thanks for a great evening.

Greeted by the friendly owner Andrea and seated at a comfy table at the far end. The other tables had metal seats which did not look comfortable. The range of food was good with lots of flexibility and suggestions. We had pasta and pizza both good but the calzone was a little doughy. The steak was very good and puds were tasty. House red was palatable and we were treated to a complimentary digestivo. We had a good evening and our overall bill for 4 including drinks and coffee was £84.

They treated us like family, and the food was fantastic. We weren't sure what to get, and the owner asked if he could prepare a sampling - perfection!!
