   The experience was good. Could of been great but when we moved to a busier atmosphere within the restaurant we were left a bit high and dry. We waited almost 30 mins to be given water and menus after we flagged down a waiter. The food did not come out at the same time but tasted excellent (mined you we bought two items on the special list). We ordered creme brûlée which they ran out of but our waiter was excellent through the process after we finally flagged him down when nobody came over to us.

   Reservations for 4 at 7:45pm. It was my fiancé’s birthday and I pre-ordered a week in advance that a dozen roses be given to her upon seating at the table. Those instructions weren’t honored. The bouquet was simply sitting on our table. She didn’t realize they were for her until I showed her no other tables had flowers on them. She was obviously elated but my instructions to deliver to her weren’t honored. Big strike 1. We weren’t seated until 8:03. Water glasses filled a couple minutes afterwards and menus handed to us. Waiter returned about 8:10 and hands us a small piece of paper of the specials. This paper looked like it was handled by a dozen set of hands before us. Strike 2. We passed the 5”x7” paper around our table. A lack of timeliness of seating to receiving water glasses filled and eventually to the bread assortment was sub-standard for a restaurant which has numerous $45+ entrees, the selection of steaks/chops/Italian/fish was very good. We ordered grilled octopus (didn’t see any grill marks?), steak tartare (predominant flavor was the coarsely ground country mustard), and braised spare rib appetizer was delicious. I ordered the full rack of lamb. It was cooked properly and was of sufficient flavor and tenderness. A picture is included in this review. Because of covid/Cuomo’s mandate, restaurants are required to close at 10pm. Our waiter conveniently notified us of that approximately 9:50 and he warned the restaurant could be fined thousands of dollars if patrons are still dining. WE CAN GET THE HINT. Needless to say, we didn’t have time for dessert nor coffee, etc. We chose this restaurant because it was one of the most highly rated (and expensive) in close proximity to Niagara Falls, where we were visiting. Our experience was good, not outstanding. Our food was good, not outstanding. General service from all employees lackluster. There are plenty of restaurants where you can receive good food with a good experience. I expected better.

   Loved the service and live music, was disappointed in the 9 dollar twice baked potato half. For 9 dollars you really should give us a whole potato. Banana Foster really could use some whipped cream.

   We were seated and it took over 10 minutes for our waitress to come to us then when she did she was very nice and personable, but then our food took FOREVER to come out. The women’s bathroom in the dinning room was out of order so I had to walk to the other bathroom that was on the other side of the restaurant, through the bar, I am currently in a walking boot so that made it difficult. We have been here before and had great service. For a $200 dinner I’m not sure the service reflected it. I am not sure I would do that again.

   It was my sister's birthday and 3 of us girls had dinner to celebrate. We had Ken as our waiter and he totally added to our evening - he was funny, engaging, professional and really made sure we had a great experience. Thank you Ken!

   Italian Prime has become bounced back well from pandemic. The service was excellent, which is what you expect from Salvatores. The tables are spaced over six apart and everyone was masked. My steak was cooked perfectly and paired wonderfully with the bottle of Cabernet we ordered.

   Our waiter Giovanni was incredible , the bus boy Robert was amazing as well. Perfect way to celebrate our anniversary !!

    Must have had opening jitters. Lobster bisque so salty it was nearly inedible but beef tartare not seasoned at all. Both filet and prime rib overcooked. Octopus was good Overall not the best impression. Other places in town much much better for the price
