Love the mushroom capelletti. My husband had the squid ink pasta with seafood and he thoroughly enjoyed that. I always enjoy their bread. It is a simple, but wonderful pleasure.

Started with burrata/aged prosciutto, always delicious. The root veggie salad was great—dressing really delicious. Several people had the rigatoni, which they raved about. The pici was the other favorite at the table. Super service. Nice wine, beer, drink list. Appreciate the “taste” and full glass options for wine

i love everything about i.e. EXCEPT their harsh overhead lighting. some options: maybe turn down the brightness OR diffuse the lights with covers/shades OR consider shifting to warmer hues. everyone in the dining room has dark shadows under their brows & noses = less-than-ideal overhead lights. but the food, drinks & SERVICE are excellent!!

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The food is always so good. Definitely recommended Italian Eatery if your looking for good Italian food. Staff is always so kind as well. Will definitely keep coming back!

This restaurant does everything well. It's great for special occasions and yet perfect for a casual small group gathering. The food is beautifully prepared and presented yet not overly fussy or intimidating. They really excel in sauces with unique flavors and freshness. Try the shaved root vegetable salad! They are always busy, but are well-staffed with attention servers.

The food and drinks were delicious. We ordered the prosciutto and burrata, calabrian cauliflower, ricotta cavatelli, and mushroom cappelletti and loved all of it. The service was really great as well!

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday - but we are fairly frequent guests just for everyday dining. Food was amazing and Scott, our server, was great. Patio dining is in high demand. We also go to Un Dito and bring our dogs. Love it!

Absolutely delicious pasta dishes. My daughter and I both had the fennel sausage pastas. I had bucatini and she had rigatoni. Both dishes were fabulous! The tiramisu is perfect and the espresso gelato had just the right taste of coffee. There were 2 parties in the room where we were, so it was rather loud. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. We love this place!

Excellent food and service. Root vegetable salad was perfect with enough crunch, acidity and sweetness. The boar meatballs were nicely baked outside and soft and delicious inside.

We were customers when the rest., first opened and were very pleased with it. The food was first class and the overall aspect was very good. Our recent visit was extremely disappointing as we experienced resistance from the podium people to accommodate our request to move to a table in the banquet from a table next to the patio door and were told that all of the tables along the wall were not available. Those tables were empty throughout our dinner, the food we ordered was far from first class and nothing like the original dinners we enjoyed there. Needless to say, we will not be visiting IE in the future.

The food and ambiance at Italian Eatery was excellent and warm as usual, but it was our server, Scott that put our entire experience over the top. Although a relatively new server, he was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, gracious and so attentive. I have not had that level of service in quite some time. Shannon is the GM there and she seemed to have the restaurant running smoothly. All this to say, when you go, ask to sit in Scott’s area. Amazing service.

Portions on entree’s small. Dishes okay but not stellar. Ordered PICI. Pasta was almost raw. Sauce was more like chopped tomatoes in plain broth. Lacking in flavor. Would not go back. Best thing was the Burrata board and the meatball app and bread.

IE is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the Twin Cities. Fantastic food with complex flavors. Their rigatoni with fennel sausage is my go to meal. Scott, our waiter, chose a delicious crisp white wine for me tonight. Ive enjoyed all their wines so far and they also have fun mixed drinks. I tried their mahi mahi for the first time and was disappointed with its tough texture and the saltiness of the olive oil sauce. Scott was great about quickly offering me something else as a meal and taking the fish off the bill. As always, we received great service and enjoyed the experience anyway. iE is still my favorite Italian place.

Italian Eatery has been our go to date spot for years. Always blown away at the level of service and attention to detail in the menu. There is a consistency in quality and I love seeing the new menu options each time we're there. Don't sleep on their salads as a starter or their non alcoholic house shrub to pair with a meal. Affogato for dessert is a must!
