Felt so cozy. Had a knowledgeable waiter. Always had my water glass filled. Excellent food!!
Try a Cedar, my favorite cocktail! Outstanding service, delicious food!
Great service and delicious food!
I just don’t like the two
Person high tops Way too small
Great place and great service. Our waitress Shelby was very attentive and patient with our group. Highly recommend the lamb chop appetizer!!
Love the Italian Eatery! Never have had a bad meal there. The gnocchi is to die for. Service is always professional.
I and my fiancé were looking for a quiet and quaint place for brunch, and Italian Eatery (ie) did not disappoint! We were running late for our reservation but they accommodated us immediately. Todd was a gracious server. The food menu is well thought out and the plates are great for sharing. We will definitely come back!
The food is 100% perfection! And Daniel is the most amazing server ever!
Keep up the great work. Your staff are kind, polite, cooperative, and beyond generous. Food is great, sometimes is cold, don't know why.
The food was good. Either the prices were a bit high or the portions a bit small in my opinion.
Service was very good and the noise level was acceptable.
The Italian Eatery was our choice for our 43rd Anniversary. We don't live far, but we used to live very close and remember when the space was first a Clark Oil station then Carbones Pizza. It is wonderful to see a high quality Italian restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff and manager were very gracious helping us celebrate our anniversary.
Probably one of the best meals I've ever had, honestly. My wife and I ordered two entrees and a side, and nothing was left on the plates when we left. Great atmosphere and speed of delivery for the meal as well.
Had another nice dinner with friends. A great place to share some very tasty Italian fare. Lamb chops and the wild boar meat balls are absolute stand outs!
Host was warm and welcoming. Our server was tastefully responsive, informative and available at just the right times. The food was delicious. The ambient noise took the edge off of an otherwise perfect experience.
It was our first time at ie, although it has been on my radar for awhile. We had the mussels and ricotta as our apps, which both were amazing! We used the bread from ricotta to dip into the juice from the mussels - highly recommend. I had the mushroom pasta, which was also great but filling. Cocktails were exception - small but very tasty.
EVERYTHING was great except there was too much NOISE!!! The room had not one soft sound absorbing surface. Conversation was impossible!!! I want to come again but don’t want that same issue!!! Food & service was outstanding & very Italian. The noise???? Awful!!!
Very pleasant experience. We visit there whenever in the Minneapolis area and took my wifes90 year old aunt there she is set in her ways and ordered chicken fingers from the kids menu but we had a great dinner in spite of her old eating habits. The waitress did great engaging the old aunt!
Made a reservation for four people, one of which is six years old. Were seated at a high top table near the door, kitchen and bar. The table wasn't to our liking, we asked to be seated elsewhere. The restaurant was full, so no other tables were available and required a 20 minute wait. My complaint is that this table should not be used for reservations, but walk ins only. It's not a desirable table. The food and service were excellent.
ie never fails to disappoint. Always beautiful, always extraordinary, always delicious. We love you! Don't ever change.😙
We are visiting from out of state with friends who met us in Minneapolis for a long weekend. We have been trying restaurants in the area. Italian Eatery was delicious. The food just melted in your mouth and the service was great. We will definitely make a point to eat here again when we come back to Minneapolis.
Brunch at Italian Eatery was wonderful. Three of the four of us got the Bibidi bowl and one got the Fontina Sandwich with side salad. Two of those who got the Bibidi bowl asked for no pork; the waiter was great and offered extra vegetables & mushrooms instead of the meat, without prompting! All the entrees were fresh, well-planned and well-balanced, and really very tasty and well-executed. We also got the biscuits to share, which were quite a treat! The portions were perfect for brunch - satisfying without being overwhelming. For beverages, one person ordered the San Marzano Bloody Mary, which was fresh, light, and refreshing. One of us ordered a Macchiato, which was served perfectly - a smooth-tasting, perfect espresso with just a touch of milk froth - and the design in the foam was a nice touch. One of us got the Shrub which was a particular surprise - we had never tried drinking vinegar before, but it was tangy and delightful, with a slight hint of sweetness, and we would definitely order it again! It was a nice alternative to very sweet non-alcoholic beverages like lemonade. The price was about what I would expect, and a good value for the quality of what was provided. The only downside was that it took a little while for the waiter to run our cards at the end of the meal. However, the restaurant was quite busy, and the wait was still well within the norm. The service was very good and personal. We had a great time and would definitely go to this restaurant again.
Brunch was good. I would say it is an elevated traditional brunch with some non-traditional spin. Food is great!
Best Italian food in MN. My wife and I absolutely love coming here. Great food and great service.
We had a very nice experience. The staff was friendly and well versed on the food and wine. The food was excellent.
Great service, great food!!
We had a great meal with a wonderful server. The only drawbacks were that there was no comfortable waiting space and our table wasn’t ready when we arrived 10 min early for our reservation. It’s also an especially noisy space. The food was phenomenal, however, and the wine pairing suggested by our server was a great match for what we ate.
Would have liked more description of the menu items. Otherwise a lovely time was had by all. Food was good!
A good place for special occasions if a bit pricey. Wine list is fabulous but way to big.
We love this place, great food and service. Daniel our server is awesome. He knows the menu well, makes great suggestions and has a great sense of humor. We will be back.
We had a reservation but still ended up with a table right next to the servers station, not great. Our waiter was a bit pushy trying to get us to order a bottle of wine, more food dessert, etc. I don't care for that. I know what I want
The food was good.
One thing that I didn't care for, no bread, no good crunchy Italian bread or a small bread basket. If you want bread you will pay $9.
Will go back again, and again, and again. No question.
Halfway between homes for two college friends. Noted as best brunch in the neighborhood - and lived up to that rating. I had the waygu beef and egg dish with a side of Evening in Missoula tea. Delicious- nicely seasoned and the beef perfectly cooked.
The wild mushroom sandwich with field greens looked fabulous. Waiter was nicely attentive.
We loved the atmosphere and our server was excellent but we made a reservation for 4 and had to wait 20 minutes for our table to open up. There is no area to wait in so we were awkwardly standing by the bathrooms and in people's way. IE said they don't rush people because Italians take a long time for dinner but if that's so they should have a waiting area and need to space out their table reservations more appropriately. Also food was very good but the pastas were a little light on the sauce which made them a little dry. The mushrooms plate though is incredible!
Food was expensive and serving size was scant. I got a grizzly, over-cooked 6 oz steak for $24 with no salad or vegetables. Seriously???
We loved the fresh pasta, our waiter Ryan was exceptional and knew the menu. I brought my parents and was a little worried they'd be uncomfortable since the menu didn't have Chicken Fettuccini or Ravioli on it but they ended up loving the place. We really enjoyed the mussels and octopus apps, the entrees we had were spectacular and the fresh bread is worth a visit on its own.
I love this place! I always have great service and AMAZING food.
Alexa was a great server. Fun place. Packed on a Tuesday night, so it is popular, but the wait was exactly as promised
Service, food, and ambiance was great! Tiramisu is outstanding!
This place was a hidden gem. The server was very knowledgeable of their menus and pairings. The Manager was very warm and welcoming even offered free Proseco for our birthday celebration. The food and drinks were great. It is very rare that when we go out as a family that everyone likes the food, atmosphere, and service level. We were all amazed at how great this was. We will definitely be back to our new favorite spot.
Usually a go-to destination. This time the gnocchi was bland and tough.
