   Fantastic evening, the staff were very professional, the food was excellent and good value. In particular, I would like to thank William for his attentive and helpful service as this went a long way to making the evening feel special for me and my partner. Thanks again!

   food and service very good, only slight issue is the noise - with hard surfaces a noisy crowd can make it a bit unrestful

   Good meal, nice atmosphere. Slightly overpriced for what it is and the peppers we had were rather hard and undercooked. Prices have definitely gone up and portion sizes have gone down over the years, something the restaurant should watch. Attentive waiter. Always reliable food in this restaurant, nothing amazing but never bad.

   Went to the Italian Caffè for the first time a few good months ago and loved it: great food and lovely wine list. So went back two nights ago with a couple of Italian friends and I must say I was quite disappointed. I ordered the same mushroom and sage risotto that had so impressed me the first time, but this time the risotto was over cooked, far too peppery that you could barely taste the sage and mushrooms. We also ordered the Antipasti di Mare platter to share and which was good but really nothing special: the anchovies tasted like the ones you buy at the supermarket. They still have a very good wine list but the white wine was served far too warm, so we had to ask for ice. Service was really good though. All the staff was super nice and fair play to the manager, she discounted the price for the risotto after I politely complained about it. Not sure what happened, but if they changed the cook, I'd suggest they hire back the old one. Still a nice place to go to: finally an Italian restaurant in town that doesn't look old fashioned and stereotypical.

   Not our first time dining and certainly won't be our last. The carpaccio was a treat, then we had 3 small plates each. Difficult to say which dish was the best they were all so tasty. Included in our selection was the roast pork, one of the best sauces I've tasted. Also had the Sicilian prawns, penne with pancetta - really good! Only suggestion would be a some bread with mussels - just to soak up the sauce- would be a shame to wate it. Will certainly return.

   We have been here many times and on each occasion the food is excellent with a good choice of small meals if you are watching the calories or larger meals if you feel hungry. The staff are always consistently friendly, always very attentive and create such a good atmosphere we have 3 favourite Italian restaraunts in Glasgow and this is definitely one

   The ambient atmosphere is good. The food is excellent with a great range of tasty dishes that can be either small or large plates. Also the staff are very friendly and attentive. A great dining experience.

   The food is very good, freshly prepared and many dishes are genuinely Italian; the wine list has extensive choice of very good Italian wines also by the glass; service is prompt and courteous; booths layout gives more privacy than in most other restaurant. One of my favourite choices in Glasgow for pre-theatre meals or working days lunch (lunch menu is very good value too).

   Great little find in the merchant city... Good choices, executed well, good helpful staff all round. Definitely go if you've not been :) Thoroughly enjoyed, will return for sure!!
