Italian by Night is an urban Italian restaurant and bar with a cuisine focused on old world techniques in a modern kitchen.

A romantic Italian restaurant in Uptown Saint John with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is a mix of rustic exposed brick and wood beams, as well as elegant touches like linen tablecloths, fresh flowers and candles on the tables.

The menu offers a wide variety of Italian dishes, ranging from classic favorites like pizza and pasta to more upscale options like seafood, steaks, and excellent wine list. We use fresh ingredients, with a focus on high-quality flavors and presentation.

We offer corporate and wedding buyouts in a gorgeous venue with ample seating and layout, excellent food, attentive service, and a memorable atmosphere that is perfect for any special occasion. A personalized menu and experience will reflect your unique tastes and preferences.

We offer a private dining room for smaller groups.

    We are happy to work with our clients for both small or large private events at Italian by NIght. We offer restaurant 'buy-out' packages as well as smaller group event menus. Our beautiful open space concept can host up to 183 guests in a stand-up cocktail reception format or 120 guests for a seated dining experience. Hosting corporate, wedding or family events is our expertise. We welcome all inquiries.

    Enjoyed the meal, happy to hear they were only expecting a crowd of 160 compared to as the week progresses 200. I found the noise level excessive. The big open room does not help with the noise level. The food was hot, and stayed hot throughout my meal. which I enjoyed. Overall I would come again, I would tend to book earlier in the week when the crowds were lower.

    Upon arrival received a friendly greeting with a welcoming smile from host staff and table was ready for our group. We received a warm friendly joyful welcome from our server Angie! She was very detailed and funny. Angie made our experience very memorable with laughter and joking around with us. We all had amazing appetizers Scampi, Polpetii and Calamari. Our table loved our meals! Tenderloin special, Pasta Carbonara and the amazing Scoglio!

    Fun evening dining alone at the bar. Good banter with the bar staff and a local or two. Best pasta I’ve had in ages. Italian as bro.

    The food was amazing as always. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and they gave her a complimentary glass of champagne. Great food great service, always special

    We were seated on time we are greeted immediately by our server he was always close by, but not pestering us. He was very knowledgable and engaging. It was a wonderful evening with amazing food.

    You can tell this is a very well run, clean, professionally run business the moment you enter the restaurant, from the hostess that confirmed our reservation and escorted us to our table and introduced us to our server Michael. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative on the various wines to the choices on the menu. We started with the calamari and it was delicious, cooked and prepared perfectly, the main Sue had the Linguine con Pollo e tartufo, and myself the lasagna alla bolognese, both meals were perfect, Michael checked in on us from time to time but never overly, at the end of the meal Micheal introduced us to the owner who came over to see how we were enjoying our visited , after a brief interesting conversation about the history of the restaurant she left, I found her very informative about the history of the restaurant , she was very sociable and I enjoyed this interaction . After our dessert we left and headed back to Fredericton 100km away, figuring out when we were going to return and enjoy another fantastic evening out at Italian by Night. Sue and I were very impressed

    I really want to be able to love the pizza, but they smother it with so much cheese that it ruins the pizza. Next time I will order a pizza with no cheese. But if you like pizza smother with cheese than this is the place for you.
