Italian Affair Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
Nice dining experience from initial greeting through the end of the meal. My wife had a “Small Plate” – Ravioli Alla Jo Jo – perfect portion size and delicious!! I had a “Southern Italian Specialty” – Pistachio Encrusted Pork Tenderloin – Excellent… We highly recommend Italian Affair and will return.
Was NYE - had a fantastic time. Not sure but I got the impression this was all family owned and run. Every single employee was courteous, welcoming, had a smile on their face and eager to assist customers and each other. From the minute we walked in the door. And for this holiday, there was a lot of people in the place. But it all ran very smoothly and efficiently. Food was amazing! Not just the regular, simple Italian dishes but each very different and we wanted to try them all! Will absolutely return! Loved it!!!
We have been going ever since we found this place a year and a half ago. My 2 year old love the live music and food which is very hard when it comes to my daughter. My wife and I went fir her birthday live music and drinks great Time.
This was our first visit Italian Affair's decor and ambiance are very nice of course it's Italian themed but done well The waiter was very helpful and fun, a nice sense of humor The menu has a wide variety I would recommend ordering the Italian/pasta dishes Our friend ordered a salmon and spinach dish which was bland. Meanwhile the veal, chicken and wild boar ragu were all good We would definitely come back
Made a reservation at 5:30 didn’t sit until 5:55. We were sat at a table for 4 and we are 5. Horrible experience. We will not be returning . Didn’t stay for dessert cause the table had no room. The chicken was dry, pizza was good . Should not have taken a reservation for 5 if they had so many parties . Our waiter was good the hostesses were not
Always a great experience here. Food is well prepared and flavorful, and the interior of the restaurant is so beautiful and well thought out. We didn't eat at the bar area, but that look warm and inviting as well, with a good size crowd for a Saturday evening in the winter around Holiday time.
Everything about this restaurant was wonderful! Laura our waitress was wonderful. Their wait staff could not do enough for us. Our meals were perfect... Service was on point-
appetizers came out within minutes, enormous entrees came out PIPING hot. Delicious. Pumpkin Cheesecake to die for..
We went for my husband's birthday- it was the perfect location. I will return with a group for Sunday dinner special..
Average in every sense of the word. The portion sizes are good and the staff is friendly, but disappear for long periods of time. The chicken parm was cooked well and the sauce was very good. Avoid the gelato, as it tasted like old, frozen store bought ice-cream. Not good enough for a return visit.
Excellent food selections. Our sausage stuffed long hits were great. The flatbread was perfect. Both of our entrees were delicious but dessert topped it off fantastic. I had pumpkin cheesecake that was awesome and my husband raves about the Amaretto cake. We will be going more frequently!!
WOW this was the first time we went there but what an excellent meal. There were 3 of us and usually you only get 1 great entree out of 3 but not there it was 3 for 3. I ordered the lobster ravioli and it was great also such a big portion. My daughter had the seafood risotto, at least 4 large pieces of lobster and at least 6 jumbo shrimp. My husband had the gnocchi and it was also so great. He is a big eater but could only finish half of it. Will definately so back and would not hesitate it to recommend it to anyone.
The healthy special, salmon and whole wheat pasta in a pink cream sauce was 5*. Husband had seafood and pasta son had chicken parm. Food took very long to be delivered. When margarita pizza appetizer finally arrived it was room temp. We were starving so we ate it. We did get soups salads and bread before this point. I mentioned this to Jordan, our friendly waiter and he took the pizza off the bill. Soups and salads were good, as was the selection of wines by the glass. No wait on a busy Saturday night with our Open Table reservation. I didn't give 5 stars due to very slow service, room temp hardish unflavored bread and the cold pizza. Family weekend at Rowan, so the kitchen couldn't seem to keep up with demand. The entrees were worth the wait. Nice typical Italian restaurant decor, borderline tacky. Not bad prices, will definitely try it again next time we are in town.
