Italian Affair Restaurant
Always great food and service .
Romeo was outstanding went out of his way to see that our meal dining exp met our expectations He deserves a raise. Typically we will return And request Romeo . The filet migeon & rav jojo outstanding .
Apps and salmon were good. The Seafood Tri with pasta in oil & garlic was also good. The noise level was higher than expected. Service was good. Drinks were subpar. We ordered dirty martinis and their special chocolate drink.
My first experience was wonderful,
The service was exceptional warm and friendly our waitress Laura cater to every need and was very personable the food was wonderful and I would recommend this restaurant
We can no longer go there to entertain our job candidates. We are a department at Rowan University. We really enjoyed coming here in the past, but on the event in question they refused to break up our tabs individually. This would have been fine for a family, but impossible in a corporate or institutional setting. Good food, bad management. Losing our business and won't go with my family.
Always a great time at Italian Affair! The service is VERY professional.
Food was great but r table for two was not where expected
We had our Valentines dinner on the 13th to avoid crowds. The restaurant had a nice crowd but not over bearing. Our waitress, Yasemin, was excellent. Very attentive and knowledgeable. I had lamb chops which were delicious and I changed my sides and there was no problem. My husband had ravioli and he really enjoyed them. We shared an Italian Rum cake that was delicious. We will definitely be back.
The service and food were wonderful! We all really enjoyed our meal!
Our server, Romeo, was outstanding. Food was fantastic.
The only thing that took away from the experience was that servers congregated right next to our table to talk about customer orders, problems, etc. It was distracting and a bit rude to hear them talk about other guests.
Excellent food, excellent service Romeo was the best! Thanks for making my Mom’s birthday wonderful.
We had a reservation but we requested to be seated somewhere else since we are very close to the kitchen area. They said that all the tables in our area are all reserved but requested to be seated somewhere. The young hostess did not bother to come and explain and did not even apologize. They did not honor our request to be moved or seated somewhere else.
The food was mediocre. The swordfish was okay. The lobster ravioli was very salty and not satisfying. We will not come back to this restaurant again.
Always a pleasure. Never had a bad experience here and the service is always on point
We were seated in the bar area. It was a friendly but low toned atmosphere. Romeo was our server. He was perfect- attentive but not overly so, and very funny. We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent also. Thank you. We’ll be back soon.
I had an 80th birthday party there last night march 14th in the height of the virus scare and it was fabulous. The food as always was outstanding. The guests picked from the menu which was extensive and every one was pleased with their selection. The server Laura couldn't have been more on top of things and no one waited for drinks food or dessert. Highly recommend italian affair for dinner or large parties which I had.
Tremendous food. Great service. Definitely will return.
Very good Italian food, with a huge menu to choose from, including many items that you wouldn't find at a "standard" Italian restaurant.
Even which a reservation we still needed to wait to be seated. It didn’t appear very busy so not sure why delay.
Excellent food and great service! Romeo was our waiter and he was excellent! Great ambiance and delicious food!!
Great service! Great food! Great value! What else do you want!
We had a reservation for Xmas eve dinner. Sat down promptly and had immediate service by several waiters. Although we’ve been here several times we were rushed through the courses and my dinner plate was taken from me while I was still eating. This is unacceptable. I was a little annoyed that we were so rushed on Christmas Eve. Last time we do that.
Had the wild boar ragu that was pretty good and vanilla gelato. Service was fantastic
Party of 4 . All really enjoyed their meals which ranged from pasta to fish. Server was very interactive but not overbearing. Provided good recommendations and outstanding service. Will definitely be returning.
This was the second time we visited the Italian Affair and were joined by another couple who had never been here. We all were very happy with the food and service. The only problem we had was at paying the bill. We had asked for separate checks...one for them and one for us. We had a coupon deal and they had a coupon with them as well. When we went to pay we were told that only one coupon could be used per table. Not knowing that, we were greatly disappointed. We managed to use ours but the waitress had told the manager how upset we were since our friends wouldn't of come here knowing that they couldn't use their coupon. The manager came to our table and was very rude in talking to us. He actually said ...so you don't want to come back, so don't. In the end, he did take off their coupon but it left us with the feeling that maybe we shouldn't go back because of this.
Had a great dining experience with my family to celebrate the holidays. Our table was at the back of the bar which was quiet and enabled us to talk, but I felt disconnected from the main restaurant, so the atmosphere was a little less than I was looking forward to. The food and service was exceptional and we will keep coming back.
Food was delicious, service was fantastic. You could have cut the steak with a butter knife it was so tendet.
Food great. Our server Tony G was exceptional
Always great food and the service is very friendly and helpful.
One of my favorite places to be.Wil be back again and again
We came with a large group and had an awesome experience. We were in town for a soccer tournament. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We had the house merlot. It was outstanding!
Excellent Authentic Italian food. Super nice staff & awesome setting. I would recommend it to my family & friends. I can’t wait to go back again.
Server Andrew was exceptional. Food was very good. Bronzino particularly good. Veal Rollitini good dish but too buttery on the parpadelle cream sauce. Perfect egg drop soup just like mom makes. Noisy and busy as we sat right at the entrance into dining room. Prob should not have a table there as it is also at banquet room entrance. Will return.
We have been here several times and had a good meal. This time, however, the food just wasn’t as good. Maybe a different cook??? Either way, I would recommend Italian Affair for drinks and appetizers, and if you’ve never eaten there, I’d say give it a try. Everyone has an off day!
The food was excellent but the wait in between was to long after salads 45 minute wait til main meal
Our server, Samantha, was attentive and very nice. As a matter of fact, everyone was welcoming. We enjoyed the beef tip risotto and wild boar pasta.
Horrible service. Waited 25 minutes for a drink. Walked out without getting a drink.
For some reason they allow smoking in the enclosed bar area which added to the horrible experience.
I will never return.
Great service!! Great food! Had to wait a bit for our food but was worth it.
Alfredo pasta tasted like butter and had no sauce on it. Atmosphere was nice but the food was nothing I would ever come back for or recommend for anyone to go
Although we had to wait quite a bit for a table with a reservation, everything was else was awesome as usual!
