Italian Affair Restaurant
Covered with a rich and creamy Alfredo sauce, tossed with cheese tortellini
A Mediterranean sea bass, filet table side and topped with a lemon caper sauce, served with roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach
Served with broccoli rapa and roasted red peppers
Food was mostly great. Chicken Marsala has great sauce. Lobster ravioli was very good. 10 oz filet was nice. One of our part ordered pasta with meatballs, and was not thrilled with it. Filet tips on flatbread appetizer is a must try. Overall we had a very good dinner. I would definitely go back.
…….As usual the BEST!
Always a great experience both the food and service are enjoyable
We haven’t been out to Italian Affair in a while. Must say we went early for happy hour before dinner. No MORE happy hour even though the sign is up with hours when you enter the restaurant.
Service was great. Menu has changed and no prices. If you want prices you have to download the menu on your phone. Prices went up quite a bit.
Not sure when we’ll return. Was always our favorite I hope it will be again one day again.
Way too crowded. Had to wait to be seated even though we had a reservation. Took a hour to get any kind of food to our table, no bread.,…nothing! Finally our server brought out some bread after we asked a busboy about it. Not one of the better visits to Italian Affair, a place we visit frequently.
Frank the waiter was great. The food was delicious and they had live music that just made the whole experience awesome. Highly recommended, my new favorite restaurant!!!
The food here is consistently very good. The atmosphere is casual and pleasant enough. One wait staff (not our server) could not stop mumbling, not so quietly, her displeasure with other staff members or managers which was not very professional, and which is not good for this otherwise solid family business.
My boyfriend and I went there to celebrate my recovery from an emergency surgery I had a couple of weeks prior. I had received a gift card and was genuinely excited to try a new Italian restaurant beside La Scalas. We waited 30 minutes for our first drinks which had come out warm (beer and a Martini) we could tell they had been sitting our while. We had the calamari as an appetizer which was fine, but our dinner was absolutely horrendous. We had the chicken parm and chicken alfredo (which is pretty hard to mess up) it was terrible. The chicken alfredo actually made me sick I couldn't even walk out to our car my stomach hurt so badly. The server was not very attentive and barely came back to check in on us. The table next to us was so loud and breaking things and then clapping it was overall a terrible experience. I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. When we got the bill it was so expensive not including the tip. If your gonna eat at an Italian restaurant go to La Scalas it is cheaper the atmosphere is better, the service is better, the drinks are better, and the food is magical compared to this place. Oh, they also have desserts at La Scalas that last the whole night instead of a couple of pieces of chocolate cake that barely last an hour.
Great Italian food! Service was friendly! Great atmosphere and nice big open dining areas. Highly recommend!
Food was mediocre and half of what was served was not prepared correctly. Prices were outrageous. Service was below satisfactory. Highly disappointed and will not return anytime soon.
Always great food!
We had a great experience! We requested to sit in the bar for the happy hour specials, which are still advertised, but they stopped doing the specials since Covid. They should remove that from their menu and website.
But overall we had a delicious meal! I had the spiced pear martini which was strong and delicious. We started with the bruschetta flatbread for app which was great. I got the special pumpkin ravioli with crab & shrimp, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I want to go back just for this!! My husband got the lobster ravioli and he licked his plate clean. We will absolutely be back for any occasion, and when we have out of town guests.
Always a pleasure to eat here. Food is good and consistent. Service was good too, know they are short-staffed right now due to Covid so we were patient and understanding. We weren't in a hurry anyway!
Italian Affair has been always a great place to dine and this time did not disappoint.
Food was delicious; excellent soups as a starter and very good entrees although my veal chop was slightly overdone (medium well as opposed to medium) but still tender and well seasoned and not enough reason to return it back. Pasta and sides were alos tasty too. Their wines selections are fantastic to accompany our meals. Our server Frank, admitted that this was his first time on the job, but he was pleasant and quite attentive and checked in on us to make sure all was good. We love coming back here and I'm sure we'll return in the future.
We ordered eggplant balls (great sauce) and seasonal dish, Pumpkin Ravioli as our appetizers. Both were very good. We ordered for main course, Linguine al cartoccio (excellent) & stuffed chicken (very flavorful sauce for ravioli). Ordered cheesecakes to go & had the homemade gelato -at the restaurant. (strawberry and chocolate (excellent))
Great personalized service. The waitstaff was constantly checking with us to see if we needed anything.
Great service and great food equals a great night!!
I recommend this place. good portions, good food. long hots are phenomenal. everyone liked their food.
Everything was really good! The salad dressing needed more flavor.
Place and Brittney was outstanding highly recommend
Second visit. Just like the first time everything was great.
The food was excellent as always - the service not as good. Waiter was nice, but barely saw him - but would go back no problem !!!
Always enjoy our visits to the restaurant the food is great the the service is outstanding.
Really nice place. Good was fantastic. Will definitely be back again.
Bronzino is consistently great every time we go there. The server was amazing.
60yh bday get together
The pumpkin Ravioli is one of the best meals in the area, period. Would go every day if my wallet (and waistline) could afford it.
The food was good, however, not as good as in the past. My daughter had the meatballs and rustic pasta. The meatballs were extremely compact, not sure if it was beef or another meat used. The pasta was so so. We attempted to order Calamari and was told they were out. No other recommendation was offered. Also, it was my husband's birthday and I had made a reservation prior. There was no acknowledgement of his birthday made. My kids had the pizza, which is always good and I had a sandwich. This visit was just OK, compared to other visits in the past!
Very nice staff snd great food!
Waiter magnificent! Food delicious!!
Great dinner, great service
We showed up early for our reservation, but they were able to accommodate us immediately. The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional!!
food was excellent. i ordered stuffed chicken and it was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered Gnocchi Fantasia and he loved it! will definitely return again.
Table we reserved was not available and the section we were put at had one waitress for 8 tables. Drinks would take 15 min to arrive after we ordered. The food was amazing.
Had a phenomenal time. The menu was unique compared to chain Italian restaurants and food was literally delicious. Our waitress was super nice, knowledgeable, and attentive. It was our first time there and she helped guide us toward dishes that we loved. Hearing a few bits of Italian put a special touch on the experience. Coffee was gourmet and memorably good. The site is also lovely, with a variety of indoor and semi-outdoor spaces. Dessert was homemade and yummy. Can’t wait to come back and try the rest of the menu!
great meal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good was great as always. We had a new waiter. Only his second day. I am sure he will get better. He seems like a people person
Restaurant never disappoints! Fresh fish and pasta, perfect cocktails and such attention to customer service and satisfaction. One of the last true family owned and operated restaurants and it shows.
Food was delicious staff very friendly and courteous
