My overall experience at Istanbul, was amazing. The staff was all lovely, but special shout-out goes to the manage, from the start he was amazing until the end. He was very helpful and considerate. I would definitely recommend this dinning establishment, as a bidding gem .

It was my birthday and I really enjoyed myself with my friends. I only had one problem, while booking the table it was not included that the open space was also allowed to smoke. I am asthmatic and the smoking almost reigned my day. Please include this information online about allowing guests to smoke so when finding a table, a customer will know that the open table is not suitable for people who don't or cannot bare the smoking . Thank you for your service, it was excellent

Fallen off. That’s right this restaurant has fallen off completely in terms of food, ambience, vibes, service and just everything. The portions are awfully small- we got three chicken wings for the starter per portion - this is ridiculous- went from 8 wings in the past to 3. I understand inflation is definitely getting to restaurant owners but cmon now three half wings? The waiters are rude and unfriendly. The seats we had were right next to the door - with the cold wind gushing on us- or given the option to sit outside the toilet which was very rude - especially when we had booked way in advance! We ended up seated next to the door since who wants to sit next to a toilet at their meal? We never ended up taking our jackets off because the place and ambience was just too cold. No one came to check on the food and how we were doing. The service is absolutely awful here they do not care to see if you like the food - whether there are issues etc. They do not interact well with the customers. The meat had a funky smell to it and my food plate was cold- so very dodgy. My partners food plate- lamb chops were completely raw- no one can say that was medium raw because that was pure raw - dog food completely. The chicken doner was very bland, unflavoured and salty. They also did not adhere to the special occasion request- but they also didn’t let me know they wouldn’t adhere to it. So this is example of terrible communication from this place. Would not recommend for special occasions such as anniversaries. I am absolutely disgusted and disappointed with this place and god forbid I ever have to return. -note: The only thing that was good and remains good is the bar service and the way they make their strawberry daiquiris.

Overall was fantastic , although we had amended seating options in advance we were given a table for 8 instead of 10 so had to all squeeze on and the outside were booked from 10pm but nothing was available for another 40 mins so we had to wait about bored and table service was slow. Food ambience etc etc were all amazing staff friendly think they were just more busy unexpectedly. Would defo return.

Place really nice, food really good and quickly. Just one female waiter was a bit rude with us. But nothing bad. The food was amazing and I suggest to pop up outside for the shisha after dinner. I will definetly come back. Great cocktail!

Brilliant atmosphere, lovely music although loud at times especially when the dancer came on and I couldn't continue my conversation with friends but then again were quite happy to watch the dancer. Food was outstanding so much flavour and there was always a waiter or waitress near by to help or serve us. Overall very happy and we have told all of our friends to go there I may even hire the outdoor space for my birthday soon.

There was an ant in my drink. I sent it back and the team apologised. They brought me another and there were more ants in the other drink :/. The manager said ‘it’s hot that’s why they in there’. I had eaten there before and never had an issue with the food but I doubt that I will return for a while.

The service was excellent. The staff were eager to please. Our food was served quickly and dishes cleared away quickly. At times it was a little too quickly and some of our party felt slightly rushed. The food portions are huge. Some of our party were happy with that and others felt it was too much. The restaurant is clean and the ambience good.
