   Relaxed, nice ambiance, not stuffy. Great menu, reasonable prices, delicious food. Really good service. Nice place for date night, dinner with friends or family. I've been going there for many years. Always consistent.

   Irving, our waiter, was great. Food was tasty as always. This place is a great goto for downtown dining and a safe walk to sundance square afterward. Get the salmon kabobs.

   We chose this restaurant based on the recommendation of the desk clerk at our hotel and liked it so well we came back the next night. The service is quick and friendly and the food delicious. We particularly liked the muharrama appetizer (puréed red peppers with pomegranate and walnuts) and the falafel plate. Also had the chicken delight and the moussaka; among the desserts, the Turkish-style flan was a standout and good for two people to share. (All desserts involve nuts, so people with allergies should be abstemious.) If we lived in Fort Worth, this restaurant would be on our regular beat.

   Had our honeymoon night dinner and it was fantastic, second time here and the service was professional and attentive. Thank you Istanbul for a memorable evening. Well Done

    Our party of 4 shared an appetizer (Baba Ghanoush), 3 entrees (falafel dinner, beef moussaka, Hunkar Begendi), and 2 desserts (pistachio cheesecake, flan). Our appetizer was unremarkable - a bit too mild/bland, lacking in any distinctive or smoky flavor. In contrast, the entrees were all quite good; each had distinctive flavors and were delicious. While the pistachio cheesecake was good, it was a bit too heavy/dense. The flan was sweet and exceptional - an excellent way to end the evening. We will definitely return here. We’ve come for dinner multiple times and it’s always been very good overall. One warning - the noise level is very loud. Not a good place for active dinner conversations.
