Good Turkish food and very ample. The Turkish wines could use a bit of explanation what they are, not just the names. Outdoor dining is quite noisy because of the traffic going by, but still pleasant.

This is a great family restaurant. Service was good and food was very tasty. It’s not fancy but you’ll be delighted with the flavor. Try the Branzino! Parking lot is small but lots of free street parking one street over.

Service was super slow and our server messed up our order. Our meat was overcooked. We both asked for medium and I got medium-well and my wife's was well done. Parking was difficult. The inside was furnished with chairs and tables like a cheap VFW or or community center. It seemed pretty pricey for what we got. We won't be going back.

It was our first time at Istanbul Grill. The staff were pleasant and provided a great experience. We went for an early dinner to avoid the crowds and it was great. The food was very good! We will be back.

Really excellent Turkish food! We haven't had a meal like this since our favorite Turkish restaurant in Fairfax closed a few years ago. It was very crowded, so the service was not as attentive as we might have expected. Also, the parking lot is very small and hard to maneuver. Overall, an outstanding meal and a really good value!

Food was very good. The restaurant was busy on a Wednesday night and the staff seemed a little overwhelmed. The slow service didn’t take away from the great experience but if you are in a hurry, this may not be the best place to go. Also, be aware, the outside patio while very nice does allow smoking and quite a few folks enjoyed their cigarettes.

This was our first visit and in general was quite lovely, and we will return for sure! The food was excellent: I had an assortment of both hot and cold mezze, and my partner had a beef entree. Our server was gracious and helpful, and the host/owner (?) also made us feel welcome. We chose to eat on their outside patio, which was the only negative experience. The traffic on Wilson Blvd is quite heavy, and noisy, and so everyone seated outside had to elevate their conversational level. The result was an unsatisfying experience in terms of conversation. Nest visit -- indoors!

Had a great meal here last night. Three groups of diners on the patio appeared to be from Turkey, if that gives you any sense of it. We were very happy with the doner kabob and lamb stew over puréed eggplant as our entrees. Probably would skip the grilled eggplant in yogurt sauce hot mezze next time in favor of something else. Happy to have tried this restaurant and we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent food and service, they continue to upgrade the decor since they took over from a Mexican restaurant several years ago. Try the Adana Kabob (either lamb or chicken) and sip some Raki (a Turkish anise flavored liquor) with appetizers and lavish bread. Desserts are also excellent. Only downside is a small parking lot but street parking available across WilsonBlvd.

Our family loves Istanbul Grill. The food is great and the service is phenomenal! We also really enjoy the Turkish wine and our son loves the dark cherry juice. If you haven’t been in a while, they’ve decorated inside. There’s a beautiful mural of Istanbul and gorgeous light fixtures.

A neighborhood gem! You have to try this “hole in the wall” spot for some of the best Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine. The food is truly outstanding, and the service is great. The owner couldn’t be more friendly and accommodating. 10/10 recommend!
