Isla’s Kitchen (pronounced ‘eye-las’) is a charming Southern-themed restaurant offering our take on new southern, creole, & low country cuisine, all served with a generous helping of Southern hospitality.

The restaurant was built to remind folks of lazy Sunday afternoons at grandma’s house, where warm smiles and hugs were accompanied by delicious homemade meals and desserts that cured all ailments. Great location! Very fun and classic food with bold flavors. Service was patchy due our waiter not being told they had our party of 9 so that was a rough start. Quality of food was excellent! Portions could have been bigger. Specifically the chips ratio to the queso and the burger.

The service was very slow, from the seating to the server acknowledging we were waiting. The food was okay but for the price, not impressive.

Great experience during the tequila tasting dinner pairing the other night. Everyone at our table raved about the hushpuppy breaded shrimp. So good! I also loved the salad with fresh strawberries, goat cheese, and candied pecans. Delicious!

The food was all very good. Service was a bit slow but it was Mother’s Day. Noise level was a little loud but again, it was Mother’s Day. A lot of excited patrons involved in conversation. Highly recommend the food.

Went for Mothers Day Brunch - Lots of great choices on the menu. Everything we ordered was enjoyed! Service was great. Planning a return to try out dinner.

Our waitress Sherrie was very knowledgeable, helpful and timely. Food was outstanding. Excellent value for the portions. You'll need to-go boxes. And you'll be happy that you can enjoy the leftovers at home.

THE FOOD! OMG the food. This blew me away. It was some of the best Chicken Fried Chicken I've ever had. The brisket queso was TO DIE FOR. Sorry i feel like need to yell from the rooftops how much this food took my soul in the best way! The cocktails were excellent and different, the beer selection was fun and different. The best part was the corn soup. It tasted like my mother's beloved corn casserole that we only eat every couple of years on special occiasions. And when I discovered they have a store?!? And I can buy food to go from the little side store I about lost it. They had so many yummy things to take home. This will definitely be a favorite for me and my family!!!!
