Trevor, our server was attentive, courteous and knowledgeable. Quick, friendly service and great help with our order. We will most definitely be back the next time we’re in Melbourne beach. The place is a Gem.

As a retired chef I am a food snob! All aspects of dining were excellent! Hats of to the kitchen for creativity in preparation of menu items!! Fish is always fresh!! Awesome!!!

This was our third time there and it has been exceptional every time. We had guests in town, and all of them said that it was the best meal they’ve had in some time. Small, welcoming atmosphere. The owners walked around to tables to make sure everything was ok. Nice touch. You will not be disappointed in the meal.

We have been going here for years when we are in Melbourne and have always had a stellar experience. This time, it was not so good. It took a long time to get our food and the food wasn't up to par. We were told that there was a new chef, so out of all fairness, we will visit again on our next visit before making our final decision.

This is my go to place when in Melbourne when visiting on business trips from Arizona. I also bring coworkers here. The seafood is caught fresh daily. Creative specials. I could eat here almost every night when in town and never repeat a dish. I've been coming for years and the owner Lori always remembers me. My co-workers have also never been disappointed in the food or service. They have all said it was excellent.
Try the fried spinach as a side.

Wow! The food was superb and all freshly made that day. The fish was delicious and so fresh. The gnocchi is what I will be dreaming about for days. Also, you must-must get the handmade Key Lime Pie. This is a local spot and worth the visit. I’m so glad we ventured out and gave this place a try during our day visit to Melbourne Beach. Highly recommend and our waiter, Trevor, was a delight. If you’re looking for local/fresh seafood this is the place to go.

Food is creative and well prepared. Fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning elevated freshly caught fish from the area, something that is harder to find than you might expect.

Need to dampen the sound and put family’s with small children in the other part of the restaurant. Reserve the front section for couples and dinners looking for a special evening.

I think the waiter was overwhelmed, but I think he was welcoming the business. How can one staff with COVID? But the country music....what can I say?
Classy place, not classy music

Island fish grill was amazing! The fish is fresh caught Florida only seafood. Never frozen and never imported or farm raised. I had the onion encrusted sheepshead and it was honestly one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. Service was spot on and the beer was ice cold! Not only will I be back but I am recommending Island Fish Grill to all my friends and family!!

We’re in the area for Christmas. This was one of the few places open late on Christmas Eve.

I had Corvina, and my daughter and wife split the surf and turf. Everything was fantastic. Great flavors and presentation.

Our server, Alania (I hope I have her name correct), was amazing! Great knowledge of the menu, very personable, a d made us feel welcome late on Christmas Eve. She was the best!

Great service and food. We chose to sit outside due to the virus. The traffic was loud. The car headlights of the cars in the parking lot across the street were blinding at times. Inside would have been more comfortable. Everyone was very friendly. We would recommend this restaurant and will dine (inside) there again in the future. Thanks to the staff.

Our table of five was very satisfied with our dining experience. The waitress was outstanding. I loved the onion crusted sheep's head. Highly recommend.

Our waiter, Trevor, is a delight. Professional, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s such a pleasure to watch him in action.

We had forgotten how delicious truly fresh fish can be. Both entrees were perfectly cooked and the preparations were creative and delicious.
While we initially thought that the entree prices were a little high, the final decision is that the prices were very fair for the quality and excellent preparation.

The wine list held some surprises and the bottle prices were reasonable and not the typical 100% markup.

We look forward to being a regular.

Hadn't been here in a long time and new owners are doing a good job. Food was fresh and delicious like it was in the beginning.

The only issue was the overwhelming fragrance from a customer two tables away. She had put on enough pew de cologne to flood a whole zip code. The restaurant however had no control over that, and it was not their problem. The restaurant experience was exceptional.

Amazing dinner! The service was outstanding. I had the onion crusted fresh catch, with snapper, and it was delicious! The candied Brussels sprouts and fried spinach complimented deliciously. My date had the grouper with fried spinach and chefs grits and loved every bite. Obviously everything was super fresh. I will be going there again for sure!

Birthday celebration

I hate to say it but we were very disappointed in our dining experience. From the moment when we walked in and were greeted with a very strong unfavorable odor, think port-a-potty... no bread, limited menu - no beef choice. We ordered the shrimp and scallops and it was too salty, in fact, everyone's dinner was over salted. It's just not how I remembered it, which used to be one of the best restaurants in town. Maybe / hopefully this was just an off night.

It’s a little dated inside but still cozy atmosphere. Server was great. Their menu hasn’t changed much over the years but the fish is always fresh, delicious and cooked perfectly. During these Covid times, I appreciated that the tables were spaced and every effort was made to make me feel safe.

I had an amazing dinner. The fish was expertly prepared. I have never had fried spinach, my server recommended it and it was so delicious. She also said the Brussels sprouts were a popular favorite, and I agree. My server was very friendly and attentive. A wonderful experience.

The food here is consistently top quality and amazing. The fish is always the freshest and that comes through each and every time with the profile of each dish. The onion crusted is always the star of the show but other dishes are equally delicious. The staff is always gracious, welcoming and very knowledgeable of each and every dish. I would highly recommend to anyone to come and enjoy the best dining experience around on the space coast.

A homerun! was one of the best ever fish dishes I have had... and we eat fish a couple times a week!!!!

The food was fresh and tasteful. Presented beautifully by pleasant and attentive staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and the food was excellent. This is a favorite place to dine for a perfect night out.

From the minute we walked in to the end of our meal the dining experience was amazing. The hostess seated us right away and Trevor took out order at the perfect time. We are the chips appetizer that was delicious! The buffalo Mac and cheese had a nice kick. The snapper and grouper were so fresh. They were the best fish dinners I have had on our trip. Dessert was so good. We had the chocolate mousse and the key lime pie. Love the atmosphere and the price was right! Always a amazing! Can’t wait to be back!

Stopped in after my last visit while in town. This is the place to go, it leaves a lasting impression for sure small family environment. Service was prompt and attentive, server was very knowledgeable of the menu and the food overall was outstanding. Had the Thai Chili Shrimp appetizer to start then the Scallops and Shrimp Penne with a white wine reduction spinach, tomatoes onion and garlic, it was outstanding. Great stop again I will be back for sure every time I am in town.
