Look no further for your local fresh fish restaurant. This place is the real deal, nice but casual atmosphere. Their onion crusted grouper is out of this world good! We will be back with friends and family. Service was spectacular. Can not wait to eat here again. What a great place!

We've been trying this place off and on for 23 years now. It was really good in the mid nineties but kept going down hill. About every year we would take another visit to see if it got any better and on our last visit before this one we said we wouldn't be back. Recently, we heard from websites and friends that the food was fantastic so we thought we would try it again for Brevard Flavor month which we ordered and is a 4 course meal. The menu was limited due to Covid but had plenty of good things on it. Salad was yummy with bacon on it. I had fish soup which for me was a little too sweet but still tasty. French fry appetizer was pesto, tomatoes and I think cheese over french fries. It was OK, a little weird, fries needed to be crispier. My husband and I got fish, he sheepshead and I got grouper. Both were cooked to perfection, not over cooked and came with fried spinach and mashed potatoes which were very tasty. Dessert was fabulous as well. Our waiter (the son) said it's a family owned business and the entire family worked there. The service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back. This will be our go to place since it's so close to our house.

Fresh food, a little love and imagination. This is always part of our visits to Melbourne, and we are never disappointed. Quaint setting. Excellent service. Our server was knowledgeable about the days' fresh catches and helped us make selections that we would like.

Islands Fish Grill is an absolute fabulous place to dine. It is family owned and run and they truly adopt you as one of their own. The staff across the board is 5 star and go out of their way to make sure you have the best experience. The food is out of this world and the portions are large. The fish is the freshest that we have had in the area and keeps you wanting to come back for more. The onion crusted fish of the day is mouthwatering, delicious, awesome and addicting. It is my personal favorite. I have had the opportunity to dine at some fine high end establishments and I put this gem at or above that level. For the quality of food you receive the prices are extremely reasonable.. I would highly recommend. The grits are served various ways but are consistently creamy and delicious. The classic flash fried spinach is also awesome. Give it a try if you are looking for a top notch place at reasonable prices

Wife had grouper, I had snapper. Both outstanding. No liquor license but a selection of beer and wine. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Been here multiple times and it never fails to please. They normally have onion crusted grouper but it was not on the menu, so settled for onion crusted jack and it was fabulous. But, I would eat that onion crust on a flip flop. Be sure to try the fried spinach.

Excellent fresh fish and casual but refined service

Delicious meal- loved every single thing we tried! Snapper and amber jack were delightful. Spinach, grits , mashed potatoes, Brussels all the sides were amazing!

The fish is the freshest I’ve ever had. We ordered very specific meals and they got all requests correct. Also they gave us free of charge a small bottle of champagne for our anniversary. Perfect. Highly recommend. Delicious.

Diner at Islands what a great experience. The fish choices we very good and expertly prepared. The 3 of us choose different meals and all were very happy with our choices. My friend was treated to a birthday desert. All was well and we look forward to a return visit.

The fish dinners were amazing. Onion crusted snapper is out of this world.

the menu was limited as the 'virus restrictions' on volume were still in place. The food offered was very good and the preparation were wonderful. I was a bit disappointed in the wines offered (not great choices) but overall it was enjoyable.

My wife and I wanted to get out of the house and have a date night and Islands Fish Grill was The Ticket. She had the Snapper and I had the Sheepshead ( it's a Fish ) and both were fantastic.

Whenever we are in the area, we make sure that we dine at Islands Fish Grille. The fish is fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented. Our dinner was delicious. The waiter was very informative and efficient.

Valentines evening reservation: Usual menu choices were cut by 1/3 - 1/2, offering no bread, a single salad choice, one soup, four entrees, and three desserts. Service levels were compromised by packed reservation seatings, each filling and emptying tables at the same time, guaranteeing a kitchen backlog and slow delivery. Instead of a special experience on a special night, the restaurant made concessions to accommodate high demand. Having had an amazing meal there less than two weeks earlier, we were hoping for more of the same, but Island Fish Grill did not deliver.
