At the Island Way Grill, we're all about fresh fish. Our own boats make daily trips to the middle grounds to bring back fresh tuna, mahi, snapper and other local varieties. No long-line fish here-just hook, rod, and reel. If it's any fresher, it is still in the gulf. Most of our cooking revolves around our oak and citrus fired open pit, which sears at an extremely high temperature and adds a delicious smokiness to everything grilled. You'll find an abundance of fresh herbs and only the best quality seasonings. Fresh vegetables are used throughout our menu, and all soups and sauces are hand-prepared. We are also proud to provide an excellent selection of the worlds best oysters flown in fresh for your enjoyment. In addition to our menu, our chefs prepare a varied assortment of daily specials that always add an element of interest to our every-day offerings.

The wood fired Chilean Sea Bass was superb. Never had a bad meal here despite many visits. The Trace Paper cocktail was a surprise and delight.

This was a hard one to rate because my meal was so good and my wife’s was so disappointing. First with the positives. We sat out on the patio which was wonderful. Our server was good and attentive. My meal, the Island Seafood Bowl, was great. The curry flavor was fantastic and everything was cooked well. Also, at $33 it was a good value. Now for the bad. My wife got the Swordfish with Risotto, which was nearly $50. The Swordfish was way overcooked and the Risotto was a mushy bland mess. It was an OK visit but not what I would expect for the price.

Nice restaurant but we waited 20 minutes for a server. We told her we were ready and she ran off to get a pad, retuning after another 20 minutes. Drinks arrived after an 55 minute wait. Food after the wine was finished at 90minutes. Good was good, but not worth the wait.

They have an outside patio/bar that is water view and wonderful breeze. The sushi was fresh and delicious. Bar service was a bit slow , but we just enjoyed the view and had patience.
