Amazing menu! Everything tasted amazing as well. Our waitress was very nice and attentive
Great meal and sunset over the water!
Wonderful evening. Beautiful setting and great service added to a wonderful meal. Crab dip and creme brûlée were delicious. Loved it.
Our server returned very rarely, our surf & turf was cold, my son's mussel dish included the smallest mussels he has ever ordered. Absolute horrible service & meal. I do not understand how a fine dining restaurant such as Island Way Grill could be operated so horribly
Would not recommend. Overpriced for food offerings.
Excellent dining experience
Excellent food and staff
Beautiful location and great food. Love this place!
Took almost an hour to get the main course. No one gave any explanation for the delay until we were getting our food. The manager said she was sorry with no offer of compensation of any kind. We came for the early bird specials, but we were let down to find out they no longer came with salad or deserrt. No vegetable with my salmon, just potatoes which had no taste! I used to love Island Way; now I will not be back.
Honestly underwhelming - even tho the restaurant was empty and we had a reservation the hostess still made us wait for 5 or so minutes… then gave us just the supper club menu (no appetizers listed - we had to ask for the full menu separately)… from there, it was exceedingly slow getting our food (with an additional wait because my friend’s order got mixed up and the wrong item was delivered.) I’m not picky but I expect better - 3 stars at best and probably won’t be bringing visitors to Island Way Grill anytime soon - especially when there are plenty of good options right up the street on the beach.
Great experience the only issue I had is I ordered Snapper they were out the substituted it with Hogg fish it was small pieces and it was dry.
Food was well prepared, fresh, and served timely. Everyone from the time we walked in the door was very friendly and welcoming!!
Had the hogfish and the scallop-crusted sea bass. Both were excellent. Service was fantastic and drinks were always topped off. Highly recommend
The manager and our server were extremely accommodating - decanted our wine that we brought, served us our courses in the manner we wanted, and delivered on giving us a nice table.
The unagi sushi, octopus appetizer, and caesar salad were extremely good!
My birthday was Sunday, September 12th and my friend took me to the Island Way Grill for Brunch. It was fabulous as always. I did wear my mask due to my own medical conditions and the staff also were masked. It was still a wonderful time and the ambiance was spectacular.
Excellent service delicious fresh food awesome atmosphere our waitress was awesome
Our service was wonderful and the food was amazing!!!!
We have been to Island Way Grill at least 25 times over the years. On our most recent trip, the service was good, but the food was not. To be fair, we both ordered steak, not seafood this time and were extremely disappointed. In the past, members of our party ordered steaks and they indicated they were good. They were tasteless - one medium and one rare filets.
We just love the sushi there
Our server was very good - prompt and pleasant. Food was just okay. Mashed potatoes were barely warm. Grouper was over done.
One order of Lobster tail was overdone and tough. Waitress comped the charge.
All staff were friendly, efficient, attentive. Could not ask for better service.
Food was mediocre at best. Almost totally tasteless except for the brussels sprout which were tasty. Snapper and potatoes were bland and not at all what you would expect.
It took forever to get our food. They brought out the wrong appetizer 2 times before we got what we ordered. One person in our party got their meal 20 minutes before the rest of us. The manager and waiter were both very apologetic and compensated us but overall it was not a great experience.
Wonderful as always!
The food and atmosphere was perfection !
We had a pineapple martini in the bar then dinner inside with a water view.
We had fresh tuna sushi, oysters on the half shell , fresh gulf grouper with whip potatoes and Brussels sprouts.
Great food and overall it was a nice experience. Would go back when next in town
Tasty dinner. Nice space. A bit too noisy. Service was good but could have been a bit more attentive but I’ll chalk it up to COVID staffing shortages. Would definitely dine here again. Great menu and selection. Great cocktails.
Small portions for the price. Food not seasoned. How do you not season a steak? Grouper overcooked. Service was good however.
This is our favorite restaurant in the area. There are many unique and flavorful items available, especially the lobster tempura roll and the variety of fresh grouper dishes.
Enjoyed a relaxing and delicious birthday dinner. Denise, our server,, was an amazing addition to the experience! Will be back!
We had a gorgeous table by the window to accommodate our large party. It was very warm in the restaurant so I’d suggest upping the AC at sunset. Our waiter was superb! I believe his name was James. I use to love the chicken rice bowl but now I get the chicken piccata over rice. The cream sauce is way too heavy for a piccata dish. I get the sauce on the side so that seems to work out for me. Another minor suggestion. We dine here all of the time bc we live across the street. We love this place!
No social distancing or CDC guidance followed whatsoever. Very obvious disregard for patron, staff safety. Server was inattentive, rather stand and talk to bartender than check on tables. Received main course after taking two bites of appetizer. The only good thing from the experience was the food, however we will not be going back to that establishment. It’s unfortunate, because it was a favorite restaurant that we held in some regard until last night.
The location was great. Nice view of the Marina. The food was very salty to our standard of eating especially the crab bisque soup. The portions were small compared to the price. We don’t think we will be visiting again.
Dinner was horrible. Service was horrendous. We thought we saved the best meal for our last night of vacation but it was the worst.
Indoor dining crazy loud & echoy! We ate outside on the deck! Much better noise level. Sweet and simple on the deck. Food was good! Not great. Kait our server was fantastic! Would return again!
We always look forward to brunch at Island Way Grill and make our reservations as soon as we make our air reservation!
Our Server Jamie was amazing he made the night for us.
Entree was excellent. Bruschetta was very disappointing and while presentation was cool, the ball of mozzarella was cumbersome to cut.Needed more balsamic. Cesar salad dressing had too much garlic and anchovies and croutons were bland. Excellent service. Dining room was very noisy. Overall- skip the apps and salad and stick to the entrees. Grouper and snapper were so fresh!
Everything was absolutely AMAZING!
Beautiful place. Great food. Lovely staff!!
The receptionists need to be much more professional and personable. Our server was very polite and helpful. The food was average with the potatoes really being subpar. The room was beautiful.
Spent my anniversary here, overlooking the sunset and enjoying a delicious meal. Our waiter was efficient and had a wonderful wine recommendation for me.
