   We usually visit this restaurant a couple of times with every vacation to Clearwater Beach! The service is always outstanding and the food is amazing!

   Our last meal at Island Way before we depart home to Canada. It’s our favourite restaurant, the food is always great and the service is impeccable, always. We have dined here 6 times the last two months and every time is consistently good. We always get a table outside by the water, and it’s the best. See you hopefully next year! 🇨🇦

   The service was the distraction. It seemed like they didn’t have enough staff or coordination to keep the tables clean, picking up dirty dishes, or filling up water glasses. We ordered fairly expensive items which arrived poorly cooked or missing needed utensils. For example, the stone crab arrived without any forks so there was no way to get to all the meat and when we asked for crackers so we could break the clause more they said they had run out and didn’t have any more available. Not really acceptable for this kind of restaurant.

   Our first time to Clearwater and to Island Grill which came up in a Google search. 10/10 all around from Drinks, food and service but a special shout out to our waitress Morena. She was what every waitress/waiter should be and more. Definitely will be back

   We went for the buffet on Sunday breakfast and lunch all at once all of the breakfast items did not taste good. We all agreed that, the lunch portion of it was OK but $42 per person. I don’t think so.

   Great restaurant on the beach. Very noisy on Saturday night. Good food, excellent service. Very pricey though so I can’t “highly” recommend, but if you got it like that…you will enjoy.

   I always order octopus anywhere I go if it is on the menu. The grilled octopus at Island Way Grill is the best I have ever had! The seafood stuffed salmon and grouper was superb. Nice house wines as well.

   Even having a reservation, does not ensure that you’ll be sat on time in this place which was quite annoying to my 90 YO father who was forced to stand and wait 30 minutes for our table to be ready. We were 4 minutes late, and called ahead. The entire evening was saved by Joshua our server who was polite, charming and efficient.

   Fantastic once again. Hubby had the Mahi mahi and it was great, son had strip loin, fantastic and I had the chicken bacon handheld and it was really good. Started with coconut shrimp and it’s clearly the best on the gulf. We 🇨🇦 have been here 5 times this spring and once more before we leave. It is our favourite!
