Island Way Grill
Excellent dinner, outstanding venue!
Wonderful to sit outside on patio right by the water. Terry was excellent waiter and the meal was delicious
We went on Easter Sunday evening. It was a buffet and it was awful!! Really awful.
Very disappointing g given the glowing reccomendatins
Great value kids menu and fantastic steak. Lovely atmosphere.
We sat out on the patio and watched the sun set while drinking great wine. The wine list is exquisite! My friend had the special and I had my go to-crab legs! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Food here is delicious!
Vacation from Pittsburgh . Great dinner . Food exceptional
We loved the lively tables we passed, but we observed they were waiting, waiting, and waiting, on the main course. We splurged and had appetizers, so the wait was not bad, but there was a huge wait. Luckily the food was great for mom since it was her birthday. However my side, underneath the hot grouper, was cold! Not warm, but cold. Waiter fixed with a huge side, but not the same, and the flavors were not what I expected. Next time I will pay attention to the large oysters, and try not to order the small ones since they all cost $3 each. Also the hot tea is not refillable, not happy with the extra $6.50 when mom that happy with selection of decaf tea.
Not as fancy and nice as I had experienced before. Memories can jade us, but we enjoyed each others company for her birthday. One free grouper.
Good food. Can be noisy in the dining rooms. Good service. Not too much of a tourist destination but busy
Last brunch before heading back north
First time here loved it!
Highest quality meat and seafood. sat on the patio. Was perfect
Portions where huge ! Will be back
Great food that never disappoints. I love their stuffed lobster and filet for two. It a very generous portion of both. The filet was extremely tender. We also enjoyed their Mai Tai. For dessert the Snickers Martini is memorable. Our Server Bob was very attentive.
Great place, as usual. Place was quiet as we were there early and sat inside. No one else was in our dining area.
Are we order and ate our appetizers we waited 25minutes for a entrees. We order 3 blackened Grouper sandwiches, 2 with garlic mash and one with fries. The garlic mash was cold and fries were cold and rock hard. When we complained to the manager, she seemed uninterested to address our complaint properly.
If this restaurant was in NYC it would be closed by now.
Our second time dining here. We came back to celebrate my birthday and try something different. My wife's lamb dish was okay. My grouper fritters was undercooked. The crab bisque was excellent. The sushi was excellent. Our server took the grouper back and brought out a properly cooked one. They were very good. The tiramisu was good. Trey was our server and was okay. He got pretty busy and we had to stop him and ask for things. Not sure we'll be back.
Great staff and food
Blue point oysters and clams casino waterside. Doesn't get any better than that. Dinner was King Crab and day boat fresh caught snapper. In 20 years of coming here never had a bad experience. That speaks volumes for this restaurant. 10 stars
The food is ok. Not the best I’ve had there. Our waiter was great and the view is wonderful.
The food was delicious. Our server was very attentive. The Supper Club menu is a real value.
Also, we came by boat which is really nice. The free boat dock is a plus!
Great local spot. Highly recommend due to food and service. Fresh catch was phenomenal
Loves the fresh catch! Service was great.
The food was amazing! Our waiter was great at first but as he got busier he wasn't nearly as attentive. Waited a long time for a box and our bill.
Bad service with a waiter who asked, but didn’t care about whether the food was good or not. Fries were soggy and cold. Waiter took my plate before I was done because we asked for check. Just because we asked for the check doesn’t mean I was done eating? Whatever, it was only a $45 ribeye steak lol
Food was ok, Steak came out rate though.
Great food, great service to treat my wife for birthday dinner! Outside deck ambience fantastic!
this place used to be much better. food choices were not that good for brunch. service was below average. not worth going there anymore.
Sadly, they was unable to honor our reservation, running one-half hour (or more) late. We elected to eat at the bar, which was adequate but not what we expected.
Best brunch we have ever been to. Will certainly be back again.
I thought it was overpriced based on the food offerings "Krab spread" (ie - cheap fish), "Krab sushi", one giant baked brie that was cold and hacked to death by customers, precooked eggs Benedict with rubbery whites and rock hard yolks, pretty terrible desserts (chocolate or lemon or banana or key lime "mousse" in tiny filo cups - ie Jello pudding - etc etc. Also - if you get seated outside - make sure you get an umbrella or if you are inside - don't let them stick you in the JAMMED dessert room or right by the front door - loud and tight.
It is definitely the most amazing Sunday brunch in Florida! The variety and quality of every dish is something to see and try.
My friends and I went for the Sunday brunch because the description said that they serve raw oysters and plenty of seafood. While that is true, the description did not mention that the oysters are not shucked well and do not taste fresh, that the sushi barely contains any fish, etc.
If you want to have a variety of unlimited food and sit outside, this is the place to go. If you care about the taste and quality, go somewhere else.
It was nice for a one time visit. It was kinda overrated unless you are a big goody, and can sit there for 3 1/2 and eat.
The hostess and waiter both acted very indifferent. This was our first visit. Waiter was in the bathroom on the phone instead of tending to his customers (yes he was caught). The bathrooms were poorly kept and there were no towels in the men’s restroom. Food was ok. We were seated indoors next to a large party of 30.
We arrived at 8:30 pm to a very disorganized restaurant. Yes, they were busy, but they seemed ill equipped to handle what is probably a normal Saturday night. We were told we could have an indoor table immediately or we could wait 45 minutes for the outside patio. We opted for indoor and we seated at a table right by the doors to the kitchen. The first waitress that came to our table was frazzled and said “they gave me this whole room, so be patient with me” and she rushed off. After more time passed, another waitress came over and said she was going to help the other server out ... should we feel bad that they are too busy to serve us properly? We ordered wine and waited quite some time to receive it then another long gap before the waitress came back and rushed us through our gluten free choices. We got a starter salad that turned out to be the best part of the meal ... shrimp cocktail was fresh and ok, steamed oysters were odd and disappointing (like they were warmed rather than fully steamed) ... our entrees were terrible. The waitress recommended the Hog Fish, said it was in the snapper family and a locals favorite that is not always available. My daughter ordered grouper. Again, the server was told we were both gluten free. My Hog Fish came out thin and tasteless over a bed of tasty mashed potatoes (fish was supposed to be wood fired). My daughter’s grouper came out deep fried (not gluten free) which we could not eat. When we told the waitress we had sent it back, she seemed confused and did not apologize for the error and just said “well how do you want it?”. At that point, we decided to cut our loses and just finish the one sad entree. Needless to say, this was one of the WORST meals we have had out. Would not recommend - not worth the hype. We picked up a gluten free pizza on the way back to our hotel, as we were still hungry after our $86 meal. So disappointing.
Delicious food and impeccable service. A wonderful dining experience. Acoustics a bit loud during busy hours when dining indoors.
WE have been to this restaurant several times. It is one of our favorites. However seems to have been a change. A favorite calamari, once plentiful with a special peanut sauce, this time was small portion and not the same at all. Now served with guacamole!! My favorite, grouper pacific rim flavor, was very dry and unseasoned. Waitress was fairly new, forgot our drink order, and was inattentive whereas the staff in the past was very attentive and enjoyable. I hope these rather new changes are short lived and our once favorite clearwater beach spot is restored to its past service and delicious entrees. Will be sorely missed if it isn't.
Was quickly sat (which was a surprise for a saturday night). Definitely learned that the place to sit is the deck and not in the restaurant...(Although there is a nice restaurant area on the front side of the building). Service was great. Server was funny, prompt and attentive. The food was generally good but not "high end". My wife's food was not hot when it came out. Took a while and we were really hungry so didn't sent it back. Drinks were fantastic. Large and strong.
Called to check on an Easter Brunch option as a follow up and the person on the phone was really rude... but won't hold it against the restaurant.
Good restaurant that I will visit again. Next time on the deck.
It was an ok lunch....did not realize the brunch buffet was Sunday only. It would be nice if open table supplied that information to customers.
