The charcuterie board was really nicely prepared and the wine list is extensive. However, our waiter seemed to forget about our drink order for a bit and was not attentive as he could have been. Plus, it does feel like you are eating in the mall food court. For the cost, I expected a little more polish.
Food was wonderful
The food was very good. We had the seafood platter and braised short ribs. Amazing flavor. Not much seating available and your view is the mall. Did enjoy a very nice sparkling wine.
Love the wines and champagnes and an amazing varied menu with great salads great açaí bowel and charcuterie plate!
Unfortunately for Hawaii, they were only allowed 50% capacity, BUT the problem was they didn't have adequate staff to assist you. We walked in as per our reservations and never even got looked at for 45 MINUTES!!!
30 people in the place, 2 wait staff!!!
I was truly embarrassed that I actually had to yell at people to get over and wait on us, BUT BOTTOM LINE...
FOOD WAS EXCELLENT AND THE WINES WERE SUPERB SELECTION!!
Hope they can fix their unemployment issue.
Fantastic wine selection
High quality ingredients and artisan prepared
We enjoyed the burgers very flavorful along with the crunchy fries
Pork belly flatbread was delicious
The service and food was amazing! The poke bites were one of the best things we ate on our trip to Waikiki. We were disappointed in the wine selection, especially since this is called a Wine Bar. It was a little difficult to find, second story of the Royal Hawaiian center.
We’ve just moved from NorCal & we’re missing the wine and charcuterie spots so we were excited to find this place. We checked in and said we had a reservation and the employee said his manager would be right with us. His manager came up and greeted us, we said we had a reservation for 2 at x:30 and he grimaced and looked at his watch…x:32. He told us to wait and then went to talk to the other employee. We were sat, ordered wine & food. Both were great! When I went to the restroom, I noticed a sign on the door that said to tell them when we used the restroom. Weird but with covid, I completely understand. Then I walk in and I feel water in my head.. a ceiling tile has broken and waters all over the floor. So exiting the restroom, I approach the bar to say, ‘hey I saw the sign and wanted to let you know I used the ladies but also.. did you know the ceiling had fallen in???’ The managers response, ‘I’ve never been in the ladies room.’ The manger went in, walked out and gave me a Shaka. I then witnessed the next group of ladies walk in, get dripped on and then complain to a “surprised” staff. Soooo food and bev aside, I’d never go back. If they’re that concerned about covid precautions shouldn’t they be worried about the ceiling leaking on to the ladies heads?? I felt dismissed and un-valued from check in to check out.
Hidden gem! Wonderful food. Small venue. Hopefully when they can open up, service will improve. Would love a by the glass wine list. Overall, will definitely come back! Mahalo
Don’t be surprised by this being in the mall! Food was great, would definitely go again!
Outstanding wine bar with a menu fit for foodies. It was so good we got take out the following day. The dishes are smallish and great for sharing over a bottle from their nice wine list.
Visited a couple times because we loved the food. Was it worth the 1.5-2 hour wait (not on top of the 30-50 mins of waiting for food and coffee)? Probably not but we had time. Servers were nice but just very understaffed and seemed burnt out - hence food was not served on time or drinks were forgotten. Took a. While to wave someone down to pay as well.
The fruit and cheese plate was outstanding. Fantastic mimosas and ordered Melbac. Service was friendly and helpful.
Wonderful place! Amazing food and wine.
Sad that the nice lady didnt get us the table that we reserved!!!
