   A hidden gem amongst the trees on the south side of St. Thomas. What a wonderful dining environment, a mix of old Caribbean style and modern flair. The food was great and constantly changing as the chef and his team continue to create something the island has long needed. The service was impeccable and always there to make sure you had everything we desired.

   We had the most wonderful dining experience at the Island View Steakhouse. Not only was the food amazing, the restaurant staff was so sweet, and the view of the island was incredible. The food and team was so great that we had to return again for a second dinner before leaving St. Thomas. If you take the time to visit this restaurant, you will not regret the food and the view. We will be going out of our way next visit to make sure we have the pleasure of dining here again. If you get the chance to eat here, you MUST try the bolognese.

   Food, service and ambiance were all superb. We had filet and salmon. Bought a Margherita pizza and a Prosciutto/Arugula pizza to take home. All excellent.

   Great experience, our server turned out to be a co-owner, she was very good. The chef, the other co-owner, our servers husband, visited our table. This was an overall great meal. I had the rib steak, my wife had a pasta dish she rated as one of the best meals she has had. We’ll be back for sure!

   What a view! And the food was a plus. We enjoyed the al fresco dining at what felt like the top of St. Thomas!

   This was a not so good experience that ended well. Seated quickly and helped very nicely by our waiter Gyro. We ordered the beet salad, sirloin steak and Chilean sea bass. Two out of these is good for baseball, but ruined one of our dinners. The salad was tasty and fresh. The Se Bass very nice, along with the potato cakes and vegetables- cooked perfectly with a sauce that gave the fish a nice finish. The steak was loaded with gristle and fat- like 30%of it. The cook had come out asking about the meal and I told him the issue, and pile of gristle. He came out at the end of the meal and told us he would not charge us for the steak. We have eaten at a lot of restaurants and only a few have acted this way, with swiftness and grace. This is the way to build a reputation- to treat customers the way you would want to be treated.

    Great experience and a must for a couples date night. The food and service was absolutely amazing. However, due to the limited parking (issue through the island) I would highly recommend a taxi, as we were double parked and it was an issue to leave.
