I brought the Birthday cake, because my kid’s birthday surprise gift. but we can not enjoy the cake together, your bar charged 3 dollars of each. so if I want to eat this cake 3 people together, I have to pay total 9 dollars. It is not good for us and kind of breaking the good moods.

Food was superb! We had oysters, lobster rolls, and Bouillabaisse - all were absolutely perfect. The wine list is diverse and the service was first rate. Had a wonderful evening at this very popular spot!

We were very, very disappointed. The brunch menu online was very different from the one that we were presented with when we got to the restaurant, and though we'd been looking forward to trying several of the online offerings, there was basically nothing we wanted to eat (egg white omelette, tuna fish sandwich, baked beans--no thanks). We felt misled by the menu that Open Table put up, so we left without eating.

The oysters were amazing!! Definitely go for that - there are tons of choices. Both the mains were underwhelming considering the amount you pay for them - undersalted and my potatoes were undercooked. They redeemed themselves for dessert the banofee pie was delish! All in all don't think the main dishes are worth it - have cocktails, oysters and dessert!

Great cocktails, great service, and phenomenal seafood made my first recent meal at Island Creek another memory.

Best oysters in town! The Island Creeks are always the best! The non-seafood specials always sound good, but I always come here to order a ton of oysters, fried oyster sliders, and fried clams. These items are always consistently delicious and keep me coming back. Service is always great and they have a good beer and wine list, too. Also, complimentary sparkling water is always a nice touch!

Busy Friday night so the service was slow. We were a group of 4 and the table was too small for everyone to sit comfortably with meals and drinks. Everything we ordered was excellent though.

The food was pretty good but overpriced and not outstanding. Too much bacon in the clam chowder. The pepper on the salmon crudo was palette destroying. The fish and chips had an extremely heavy batter and were served with a cup of what seemed to be plain mayonnaise. The mignonette for the oysters was not as great as others I have had. Desserts were overpriced and underwhelming.

Tried to get into this restaurant on our last trip to Boston but it was a two hour wait. This time made a reservation one month in advance and it was worth it. Great food and close to Fenway Park. Would definitely eat here again and would recommend it highly.

If I could, I would add an extra star. Our experience was great. We made our open table reservation but needed to push it back, and called and they were great about changing the time. We chose to be seated at one of the high tops. The decor is very stylish and the whole ambiance is energetic. Still and sparkling water are free, just to start. Having heard about their bar, I ordered a slightly obscure drink, not on the menu, and Brook, our excellent server didn't even blink. It was also one of the best corpse reviver 2's ever. Husband had a gin martini and we thought it was excellent, but different. Brook explained they do a wash with orange bitters. It works. Doesn't detract but adds to the flavor of the gin. Will be trying this at home. We of course went for oysters. Again, Brook was wonderful in helping us choose, and her recommendations were excellent. The oysters come with several bottles of mostly hot sauces, as well as cocktail sauce and a vinegar sauce. I'd never tried hot sauce with oysters, but tried the green tabasco and was pleased to discover it is a decent addition. The menu is very original and creative. I had read about the Lobster Roe Pasta, so went for that and found it lived up to the hype, with succulent bits of shortribs and lobster. My husband had the fish sandwich, which he enjoyed, but the fries that came with it were really excellent. There was an appetizer scallop carbonara on the menu, which we opted for instead of dessert. It arrived barely warm. Brook quickly replaced it with apologies and took it off the bill. On top of all this, we had said we were going to a show and we got a wonderful unhurried meal, with great service in plenty of time to make the curtain. Really cannot wait to return.

Food: outstanding quality, always fresh, and well-made
Service: staff is super friendly and very professional
Ambience: casual romance

We considered to be the best restaurant in Boston. We love the fact that it's very hard to spend there more than $150 on a meal that includes includes main dishes, side dishes, drinks, dessert and tip. Perfect for anniversaries and special occasions.
