We had a good time overall, and the food was pretty good, though it felt a bit overpriced. Service was very slow and they dropped burrata, which we did order, on our table then Another runner snatched it away as we were about to eat it and dropped it on a different table. No apology or explanation was given. Otherwise, everyone was friendly if not mostly absent.
excellent and attentive service. food very delicious and prepared with love.
It’s TOO LOUD.
Excellent service and yummy food!
Love this restaurant! They have a great menu that does not disappoint, enough staff to service the diners and everyone is very friendly M
Wonderful meal especially the beet salad & burata with tomatoes.
Very nice waitstaff too.
Room for improvement. Service was really struggling - 3 hostesses having difficulty with triage, no attention for the first 20m we were seated, very uneven wine pour, and a server who added his own tip for only a 3 top. The appetisers were excellent but the risotto was soupy and the pasta was greasy.
First time there BUT....not the last...
Outstanding in every way...
Menu had “something for everyone”...
Friendly and efficient service...
Great ( but loud) background music..
This was our first time at Isabelle's Osteria and we were very pleased with the experience. The front was all open to the street which contributed to the noise level but we were still able to carry on a conversation. And we were all overwhelmed at the excellent food. My two friends had the Mushroom Lasagna and I had the Tagliatelle Bolognese. Everyone should be able to find something pleasing in the wine selection selection. We look forward to another opportunity to dine at Isabelle's.
Excellent food. Cool vibes.
Save room for the Olive Oil cake!!!!! And have the Zucchini for an appetizer!!!!
Love love love!!!!
Very few place are willing to offer brunello by the glass. Well done! I really enjoyed being able to have a glass of the top drawer wines. Thank you!
Fantastic food, atmosphere and a wonderful night in the city with my daughter!
Had a lovely evening. Food was delicious. Had a very very noisy table sit next to us so ruined the experience a bit. Otherwise would recommend to friends and family.
The pastas were delicious. Our server was great and gave us good recommendations
We ate outdoors, inside seemed noisy. Really good food and attentive service. Pricey but its New York.
Had a great time, great place for a engagement dinner if you reserve. They were very accommodating even when more people showed up
Overall 10/10 recommend.
The food was delicious but by the end of our meal (7: 30 ) or so the room was too noisy and warm. to be fair it was a very hot day in NYC so I would not hold the temperature against them.
The food is really really good! I highly recommend the skirt steak!
What a pleasant surprise. We chose this restaurant because my wife's name is Isabelle. Food was fantastic. Pastas freshly made and cooked perfectly. Jocelyn, our server, was terrific. This is a high energy restaurant worthy of a visit. I know we will be returning very soon.
Great service and beautiful restaurant… the frose was delicious as were the crispy potatoes
Excellent service, good experience.
Food was overpriced and bland. Service was slow and sloppy. The server spilled our wine and didn’t offer to get us more. Seemed like a tourist trap and not a place I’d visit again. The only good thing was the guy who filled our water was on top of it. Otherwise not a great experience.
This was one of the best Italian meals we have ever had! The burrata appetizer was to die for and the Lumache pork ragu was BEYOND delicious. Our waiter was lovely - absolutely delighted he could offer us such an amazing meal. Loved every bite. There are 1,000 places to eat in NYC, so I hate to ever repeat...but I would put this on my "go again" list for sure.
Limited menu, not very interesting. Overpriced for what it is. Service just ok and outdoor tables much too close together.
Very good. Great service. A little loud.
Our first time there and it was great. All of dishes were very good. They even made a small plate of pasta for our 8 year old.
Staff was rude and incompetent. Brought the wrong order and gave an attitude when we asked for the correct order. Over priced for mediocre food.
Food and drinks excellent! Fun and lively atmosphere! Great service too!
Great food, cocktails and vibe! Great set-up with the mix of indoor and outdoor dining options. Very lively but not too loud - a great mix. Would definitely add this spot to my list to come back even after Restaurant Week.
Restaurant week was a great deal! $39 for a three course meal!
Had the arugala salad, lumache (pork ragu) and olive oil cake. Very delicious!
The cocktails were also good! Would recommend!
My friends and I came here for Restaurant week. They did NOT honor the menu. Unlike other restaurants that indicated they didn’t offer the promotion on Saturday and Sunday (e.g. The Smith, Bar Boulud) this one did not. When we brought this to their attention, the manager said they would instead give us some appetizers at a reduced cost and told us to pick a few out. We picked out the cauliflower, meatballs, and calamari. They gave us those three plus an extra cauliflower. When the bill came, they charged us for all three at regular price and gave us the extra cauliflower for “free.”
We weren’t planning on ordering any appetizers after finding out the Restaurant week menu wasn’t being offered and unfortunately were deceived into ordering some when the manager found out we were only going to order entrees. To top it off, they also didn’t bring our table any bread and service was very slow.
Highly high rec
Perfect! Food perfect! Cocktails perfect! Service perfect!
Isabella's has a lively ambience with very good food and non- pressured service.
Great bartenders and drinks. Waiter at table was fine. Didn’t like that we were starving and wanted to put in our appetizer order before dinner. His Overall attitude not great. You could see the restaurant manager berating several employees so that was a bit annoying. The food was great - we had mushroom lasagna which was my favorite. The arugula salad, burrata and chicken were good in that order. I would go back.
Restaurant was jammed and not enough servers or bartenders as it took forever to get drinks and food…..bus boys were awesome though. Also, they had a problem with the rest rooms so they were closed - not great when the restaurant is jammed…had to use a small restroom in the kitchen area which was really dirty…have eaten here several times and this was a disappointment …
The food was absolutely amazing and the drinks were perfectly balanced. Outstanding! The lumache is a must try, best pasta dish I've ever had.
