Cod dish didn’t taste right, I did not eat it. My daughter’s pesto gnocchi was not good. My husband liked his veal parm. Maybe it was an off night. Service was great.

Excellent food and service. Homemade pasta is outstanding as is the red sauce. Servers are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The homemade ravioli and gnocchi were perfect. Gnocchi were light. Red sauce was light and flavorful-PERFECT. Very small and intimate venue. Don't miss an opportunity to dine here!

We arrived earlier than our reservation but took us in right away. Service was excellent and attentive. The lighting was very good compared to the other restaurants in the area. Food was outstanding. Actually was happy that the other restaurants didn't have any open reservations. We found a good one. It was our first time to the North End and Little Italy and they didn't disappoint.

I want to thank the waitstaff for a seriously great night! I had my son with me who was having a tough time. They could not have been more accommodating to our needs! They brought things when I asked for them and truly made our experience better than we expected! And the food was delicious too!

We had a reservation for 7 and were seated promptly. This is a small restaurant so tables are close together and the noise level is fairly high. We were seated next to the front window. It was tight, but the noise level was a bit lower. I had the Frutti du Mare which was excellent with a slightly spicy red sauce. The others all enjoyed their meals as well. We had the Antipasto di Casa and the Shrimp Scampi as appetizers, which were also very good. I would definitely eat here again.

Cosy spot in the North End of Boston. Food has not disappointed and the service is excellent. We enjoyed a wonderful veal dish and pasta, both cooked to perfection. Best to make a reservation since they are very busy.

This was my second time visiting Isabella’s. The food was wonderful. The service was not. We felt a little rushed because the when we told the server we wanted to order a couple of appetizers, he told us we had to order our entire meal along with the appetizers. It just seemed odd that he wouldn’t take the appetizer order if we were ready. The place is very quaint which is a blessing and a curse. Our table was close to the door so people coming in and out were a distraction and a nuisance. I would go back though because the food is fantastic.

Outstanding! The food was delicious, and the service was superb. Our server was very knowledgeable and offered great suggestions on wine pairings. The ambiance was great. It was cozy and comfortable. I would highly recommend Isabella’s to everyone. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

We took the T into the city and walked from the Aquarium stop on blue line. I had the carbonara, my sister had the bolognese. Both were fantastic. We made a reservation at 2pm for 7pm that evening. Can’t recommend enough.

Our first visit definitely will return. A small, low-noise restaurant with superb food. The best spaghetti carbonara I've ever tasted. All of us in the sitting enjoyed the home made portions of pasta, sauces, appetizers, and sides. Service was outstanding as well!
