   Absolutely amazing. Best dinning experience I have had in Sioux Falls.

   Both steaks we ordered med-rare…one was well done (but tender), the other was med, but became well done as it rested on my plate. They offered to “redo” it but rest of meal already served. How do you wait another 20/30 mins when the scallops and mashed potatoes are on the table? Bread was offered/brought AFTER meal was served(didn’t know bread was an option while waiting). BAD table for 2 - in the corner, back against the Falls…and my reservation stated “celebrating at birthday”. We were upstairs and our section quickly became closed off from the bathrooms because of private event. Had to go downstairs to bathroom 2x. Upstairs ambiance is open/LOUD/COLD vibe…NO ambiance- just a “cold feel”. Downstairs (on trips to bathroom) seemed much nicer, for sure not so cold and noisy. Our server was young and pleasant enough, but did not seem knowledgeable in “fine” dining. We got a “sliver” of carrot cake for our “bad steaks” but she said we were getting that anyway because of my birthday. No coffee offered/suggested with dessert. I feel the menu choices should have been “explained”/“sold” to us. We were handed menus and server just walked away. I think the trip from the kitchen UP to the upstairs area with our plates (uncovered) makes the food “not hot” when served. Our meal for two was $250 — we had one glass of wine and one NA beer - was NOT worth it. I expected to spend that amount of $ on a special occasion BUT steaks (at a STEAK HOUSE!) had better be awesome EVERY time without fail! Two other friends had already told us “meh, not worth the $” (for similar reasons as ours) but we went for it anyway. In the future we will not be “fine dining” at Ironworks for any special occasions. I doubt they’ll miss us!

   I came for the 28 day dry aged steak. When I ordered… it was the first I was notified they did not have it tonight. But it is a standard item on their menu.

   Far exceeds all other steaks in town! Tender, great seasoning, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Austin wea our excellent server with great recommendations and attention to details. The chef came to our table to apologize for a mix-up in one of the sauces. It was a nice evening!

   Chef Andrew and the whole crew at Ironwood gave us the perfect ending to a fairytale weekend. We enjoyed our whole weekend at The Steel District, but Sunday morning Brunch was the cherry on our sundae.... Or should I say Raspberry in the sherbet (which was a delightful finish to a decadent meal.) We were so honored to meet Brandon. Cody, our server had the best timing, making us feel like we were VIPs and personal guests. We were so thankful for all their generosity and welcomed hospitality. The ambiance was breathtaking and the view of the Falls was spectacular. This will definitely be one of our favorite places to revisit.

   Took a good 20 minutes before we were waited on and another 20 to 25 minutes to receive our drinks. Food was fantastic. The wait staff was very personalable and polite but very slow. Food was very good but very pricey.

   Dinner at Ironwood was truly spectacular. We were celebrating our anniversary and were greeted with personal wishes along with a handwritten note from the manager! We shared the wedge salad and whipped potatoes - then had the 14 oz Ribeye and the special of a 14oz prime rib- both delicious and cooked to perfection! We finished or dining with a complimentary piece of decadent chocolate layer cake. Thanks for making our anniversary special! We will be back again.

   Had to filet mignon was perfect. And the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had

    The wine list has greatly improved since our last visit (days after opening). The raw oysters and the marrow canoes for appetizers were both excellent. The flavor of the wagyu steak was excellent, but the texture was tougher than expected. The Steak Diane was excellent! The sides of brussels sprouts and asparagus were good but not great.
