   Our server way great. He kept our glasses full of our drink of choice. Food came out fast and hot. Food was great.

   We made a birthday notation on the reservation for our coworkers birthday, and no mention was made of it. I at least hoped for a “thanks for spending your birthday with us.” Not a huge deal, but the normally excellent Good Egg service was slow and lacking today.

   I realize Iron Star has other items on their menu, but I always get there and decide to have the tenderloin salad. It is lettuce stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese and delectable candied pecans and awesome sauce made with bacon and some other magical ingredients. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly ...you wouldn't expect cream cheese to go with tenderloin but it is delicious... and if there was a pattern on the plate… I may have eaten that too, cause it was white when I was done! Great service quiet (not being overwhelmed with music was wonderful); this is one of my favorite places to eat!

   Another fantastic meal at Iron Star. One of my favorite restaurants! Tried their spicy buttermilk ranch for the first time, WOW. Is really good. And as always, the bread pudding is one of the best deserts ever created!

    Both the food and the service were good. I have to admit that the concept of a BBQ restaurant taking reservations seemed strange, but because we were on a time schedule, we did reserve and were seated promptly when we arrived. Between the four of us, we had three different items off of the menu: the ribs, brisket, and the Wednesday Special of Smoked brisket baked potato. All enjoyed their food. They bill the BBQ sauce as mild, but it has a little bite but is very flavorful.
