Good variety of meal choices . Breakfast is available all day. The server was friendly and attentive .
My first time here was meeting a friend for breakfast. I ordered the basic breakfast. The eggs were very bland but the Canadian bacon and home fries tasted good. Nice, strong coffee! Cute place but it was freezing cold inside! Service was excellent. No real complaints other than it is very expensive for the food you receive. $15 is pricey for two eggs, two small circles of Canadian bacon, and a portion of home fries with a cup of coffee. The menu has something for everyone and some very unique dishes. Just a bit pricy for me.
This restaurant food is outstanding & so delicious 😋
Service was excellent!
Will definitely eat here again & again
Absolutely great restaurant...
Best breakfast ever! Whatever we ordered for the main breakfast was perfect! Would definitely recommend to a friend. I have now eaten at both the Annapolis and Hunt Valley locations and enjoyed both.
Always very good food and very good service. Crowded so make reservations otherwise you will be waiting a while.
Our server was very pleasant and friendly. The food was good, however, 2 of the drinks we were interested in ordering, they didn't have the ingredients for and didn't have/ offer any substitution
Too many bees for outdoor dining but we totally get that you can’t control nature. Lol
First time dining at the Iron Rooster and the experience was a most enjoyable one. The food is absolutely, deliciously yummy! Our server, Kayleigh was very personalble and greeted us with a smile that gleamed from her eyes. We most definitely will make a return visit.
Service and atmosphere was great. Food was not very tasteful.
Once seated we noticed our table wasn’t clean and it took a while for staff to check on us. After placing our order, our food came out after a long wait and was not consistent. (One French toast combo included honey butter and the other did not). Our waitress also forgot to bring out syrup for us and after asking, took about 15 minutes to do so. Overall the food was average but not great.
We had a nice time.
A nearly overwhelmed front of house and wait staff remained cool in getting orders in and food out.
Patrons are learning to be patient and understanding.
The overall experience was very good.
Birthday outing for sister food was great. Portions are large enough to share. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive to all of the tables needs.
This was my first time visiting Iron Rooster and I can’t wait to come back! The service was great, the food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable!
Food was good. Service was lacking. Server did not come back at any point to refresh coffee and water. Food took a while to come out and appetizers and entrees all came at the same time. Food was very good. Would be back to try with another server.
Food was disappointing, overpriced and the service was average.
Delicious food! I might make it a Sunday occurance!
No wait with our reservation! Food was unique and excellent!
I wanted to order biscuits and gravy with a side order of sausage. I found it more economical to order the basic breakfast instead of the side order and take the leftovers home for tomorrow.
Our server was very helpful! Bloody Mary tasted great!
Our food was delicious! We dined outside! and it was an awesome time!
Waitress was excellent! She was attentive and thoughtful. The food was awful. Shrimp and grits was a bland greasy mess. Iced tea was bitter, even added sweetener to try to improve the flavor but that did not help. The lemons that came with the tea were clearly not as fresh as they should have been. The food quality at this location has been poor for a while. I will not be back.
Due to new world dining order... there’s was no one there. And sometimes when no one is at a restaurant dining, the service and food can suffer. But I’m this instance, the server was ez eel to and positive. The food came fast and as expected.
Always a great time. My granddaughter's favorite place.
It was ok. Nothing crazy special. I excepted more. People raves about this place but I’ve had better food and ambiance.
So disappointed this visit. Waited 45 minutes for food. Expected more of an apology for that or concern or something. Manager came by just to say the food was coming but it still took some time after that. Then, if the food is going to be late it better be prepared well. One meal was a Belgian waffle and it was overdone. Will think twice before going again. Unfortunate because it is usually great.
So this time the food was not great. I ordered some kind of chicken sandwich and the tomato was cut way too thick, the chicken was too thick and mostly on one side of the bread, so it really felt like it was prepared by some kid in the kitchen rather than by a chef. This is unusual because I've always had great meals here. Hopefully this was a one off.
Iron Rooster is one of my favorite places to brunch. The food is delicious and the service is always good. The General Manager is very nice. He walks around checking on customers and helping out; and that's something I love to see!
We had a 10:15 reservation for 6 and the hostesses kept confusing the number of people in our party and wanted to seat us as 4 and than as 8. When we finally were seated, we waited for ever for our food and it was cold. The scrambled eggs looks like they had been sitting for a while. One person in our party ordered sausage and it was cooked all the way through. Also the bathrooms were not clean. We were not happy at all and will probably not return.
First time dining here at Iron Rooster. Fresh, well prepared & service was awesome. The ribs were great, wife had the brunt rib tip quesadillas, son had the chicken parm.....all were great.
Everything was delicious. We were their for brunch . Service was excellent and food was cooked perfectly! Highly recommend!
We came to celebrate a birthday, reservation was easy and very quickly we got a great spot. Our waiter was great and we ordered food and drinks. Drinks came with appetizers very quickly however the drinks were not that good. Appetizers were nice. Then it was a wait for the food with our server apologizing for the slow service in the kitchen before the manager came 55 minutes after we ordered and apologized and said he’ll take over and make sure we’ll get our food.
The food came and was nice, my son did not like his order but I liked mine, I just wish we didn’t have to wait so long to get it.
The manager did take off our food order- thank you!
This was our first time at Iron Rooster, and we were not disappointed! Food was fantastic, our waitress was pleasant and attentive, and our toddler daughter loved the play set outside. We’ll be back for sure!
Always reliable food. Great for breakfast any time of day.
Food was good but not great. Service was excellent.
Good selections for breakfast. Not ordinary but more exceptional.
Wonderful as always.
Everything was great except my mom had hair in her food. Our server was amazing and handled the situation very promptly. We will be back again.
Worst visit ever. This is our first time at this location and I am NOT impressed at all. After we were seated we waited for 15 minutes before we were able to order drinks and another 10 minutes before we received our drinks. I would have given the waiter the benefit of the doubt but for one, it was not very busy and he blatantly ignored us while we were trying to get his attention. This is our second time at Iron Rooster (first time at this location) and had we visited this location first, we would have never come back. My husband and I ordered the chicken and waffles and our waffles were overdone in addition to the home fries being burnt. We brought this to the attention of the wait oof once again and he tells us that the home fries are supposed to be burnt!!!! We waited an excessive amount of time for everything from our boxes to our check while he acts as if he “forgot”. We will definitely not be returning to this location. If you are looking for great service and good food, I highly recommend that you avoid the Hunt Valley/Cockeysville location.
eh. I've been to the one in Annapolis and this one didn't have the atmosphere or same food quality. It was ok We were made to wait for our reservation time even though we were 15 mins early and the restaurant was half empty. The service was slow, the food was good, but the portions were small. Just wasn't impressed when I was expecting to be.
