Delicious food! I might make it a Sunday occurance!
No wait with our reservation! Food was unique and excellent!
I wanted to order biscuits and gravy with a side order of sausage. I found it more economical to order the basic breakfast instead of the side order and take the leftovers home for tomorrow.
Our server was very helpful! Bloody Mary tasted great!
Our food was delicious! We dined outside! and it was an awesome time!
Waitress was excellent! She was attentive and thoughtful. The food was awful. Shrimp and grits was a bland greasy mess. Iced tea was bitter, even added sweetener to try to improve the flavor but that did not help. The lemons that came with the tea were clearly not as fresh as they should have been. The food quality at this location has been poor for a while. I will not be back.
Due to new world dining order... there’s was no one there. And sometimes when no one is at a restaurant dining, the service and food can suffer. But I’m this instance, the server was ez eel to and positive. The food came fast and as expected.
Always a great time. My granddaughter's favorite place.
It was ok. Nothing crazy special. I excepted more. People raves about this place but I’ve had better food and ambiance.
So disappointed this visit. Waited 45 minutes for food. Expected more of an apology for that or concern or something. Manager came by just to say the food was coming but it still took some time after that. Then, if the food is going to be late it better be prepared well. One meal was a Belgian waffle and it was overdone. Will think twice before going again. Unfortunate because it is usually great.
So this time the food was not great. I ordered some kind of chicken sandwich and the tomato was cut way too thick, the chicken was too thick and mostly on one side of the bread, so it really felt like it was prepared by some kid in the kitchen rather than by a chef. This is unusual because I've always had great meals here. Hopefully this was a one off.
Iron Rooster is one of my favorite places to brunch. The food is delicious and the service is always good. The General Manager is very nice. He walks around checking on customers and helping out; and that's something I love to see!
We had a 10:15 reservation for 6 and the hostesses kept confusing the number of people in our party and wanted to seat us as 4 and than as 8. When we finally were seated, we waited for ever for our food and it was cold. The scrambled eggs looks like they had been sitting for a while. One person in our party ordered sausage and it was cooked all the way through. Also the bathrooms were not clean. We were not happy at all and will probably not return.
First time dining here at Iron Rooster. Fresh, well prepared & service was awesome. The ribs were great, wife had the brunt rib tip quesadillas, son had the chicken parm.....all were great.
Everything was delicious. We were their for brunch . Service was excellent and food was cooked perfectly! Highly recommend!
We came to celebrate a birthday, reservation was easy and very quickly we got a great spot. Our waiter was great and we ordered food and drinks. Drinks came with appetizers very quickly however the drinks were not that good. Appetizers were nice. Then it was a wait for the food with our server apologizing for the slow service in the kitchen before the manager came 55 minutes after we ordered and apologized and said he’ll take over and make sure we’ll get our food.
The food came and was nice, my son did not like his order but I liked mine, I just wish we didn’t have to wait so long to get it.
The manager did take off our food order- thank you!
This was our first time at Iron Rooster, and we were not disappointed! Food was fantastic, our waitress was pleasant and attentive, and our toddler daughter loved the play set outside. We’ll be back for sure!
Always reliable food. Great for breakfast any time of day.
Food was good but not great. Service was excellent.
Good selections for breakfast. Not ordinary but more exceptional.
Wonderful as always.
Everything was great except my mom had hair in her food. Our server was amazing and handled the situation very promptly. We will be back again.
Worst visit ever. This is our first time at this location and I am NOT impressed at all. After we were seated we waited for 15 minutes before we were able to order drinks and another 10 minutes before we received our drinks. I would have given the waiter the benefit of the doubt but for one, it was not very busy and he blatantly ignored us while we were trying to get his attention. This is our second time at Iron Rooster (first time at this location) and had we visited this location first, we would have never come back. My husband and I ordered the chicken and waffles and our waffles were overdone in addition to the home fries being burnt. We brought this to the attention of the wait oof once again and he tells us that the home fries are supposed to be burnt!!!! We waited an excessive amount of time for everything from our boxes to our check while he acts as if he “forgot”. We will definitely not be returning to this location. If you are looking for great service and good food, I highly recommend that you avoid the Hunt Valley/Cockeysville location.
eh. I've been to the one in Annapolis and this one didn't have the atmosphere or same food quality. It was ok We were made to wait for our reservation time even though we were 15 mins early and the restaurant was half empty. The service was slow, the food was good, but the portions were small. Just wasn't impressed when I was expecting to be.
I had a reservation and was seated within ten minutes. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us suggestions on the food. The booth we were seated at was large and comfortable. Two of us ordered the apple pie sangria which was yummy and our other friend ordered the blueberry lemonade which was also yummy. Our food was delicious but the salads came out with the entrées. The salads should come first. One of my friends ordered the chicken potpie which was so yummy! Another of my friends order French toast and chicken which was all yummy. She also ordered the chili which was amazing! I ordered the pork ends Quesadillas - also amazing!
We also had the mixed berry "Roo-tart", that tasted just like a poptart, really awesome! And finally we had the red velvet waffle ice cream sandwich - yummy!
We will definitely come back!
Not crowded at all but the service was so slow. Crab cakes were subpar . My husband and I asked for just crab cakes and asparagus . We got two mediocre cc and two spears of asparagus, it was ridiculous for them not to replace the items we eliminated with more asparagus. Very unimpressed.
Love this place especially for breakfast!! Amazing pop tarts❤️
Love the food and atmosphere.
Everything was pretty good, except a long hair strand was found in my husband’s pancakes. However, management was very professional and courteous to try to make up for this unforeseen circumstance. But my husband was pretty much done after this and wasn’t willing to eat anything else, which is understandable.
The waffle burger is out of this world especially adding a over medium egg and their special honey hot sauce.
The food and service are outstanding. The homemade pop tarts are delicious and a must have. Definitely make reservations.
Chicken and Pancakes were delicious. A lot of food, had to take some home. Very good experience would definitely return and recommend
The food was great. The only issue I had was dirty cutlery and a dirty tea cup.
I enjoy the food, especially the Roostarts.
Saturday lunch - the food was really good (I especially liked the cornbread waffle in the chicken & waffles) and our server took good care of us. My only complaint is the noise level - it's one big room and it seemed like everyone was shouting to be heard.
I made a reservation for 11 AM and checked in. They forgot that I was even there and let 5 groups in that were walk-ins before me. My waitress was amazing. The food was good. But first impressions are everything.
Luv it here!!
We enjoyed our food even though the kitchen messed up our appetizer order and took a long time making it and sent it to the wrong table. The management did comp the appetizer so that was fine and there was a lot of noise in the kitchen and a lot of banging against the kitchen wall and our booth was attached to the kitchen wall
We were a little early for our reservation. The hostess seated people without a reservation before us, then forgot about us. I had to go up and remind her we were waiting. She didn't seem familiar with the Open Table system on her computer. Otherwise everything was great.
Why do I keep agreeing to go here? Maybe because it’s the kind of place everyone can find something. That’s great, but today’s service was worse than usual and my meal, a breakfast quesadilla was practically cold. You know how microwaved food has hot spots? My food had warm spots. It’s clear that our waitress was hiding out somewhere but it wasn’t the kitchen because we waited forever to be served. We were just going to ask when our order would be ready when we were served. Mine wasn’t the only meal that was cold. My aunt’s fries tasted like they weren’t even under a heat lamp. We’d have sent the food back, but we already had tickets for a movie. Really disappointing since it was a birthday lunch for an elderly woman who “had heard so much” and asked to go there.
