WELCOME to the Iron Pier Craft House, established in 2016, featuring our own unique blend of sharing, tasting and tapas. You will love this non-traditional style of dining! It’s a really fun way to promote conversation over really good food. Our food is locally sourced, handcrafted, and then sent immediately from the kitchen as ready and in no particular order. We encourage your entire group to try many different selections and pass them around the table as you take in the innovative and creative flavors. Have fun with our new concept; there are no rules! Of course, if you would like the traditional dining, please let us know and we would be happy to accommodate you.

Sushi Bar will be available mid June.

Kid friendly.

This was our second time dining at Iron Pier Crafthouse, and it definitely will not be our last. The food is incredible, the service was fantastic, and the views of the ocean are lovely at sunset. The homemade ice cream is a must!

Our table was a high table with bar stools and the view was amazing. The waitress was extremely nice and a breath of fresh air. We ordered off the Tapas menu and had the California roll - excellent, the Three Salmon- excellent and the special of mozzarella cheese spinach and tomatoes also excellent. Prices were not the typical Cape May sticker shock. Beer selection was varied. So glad we went

We sat outside on the patio at a high top table. It was very loud and hard for us to talk. The food was OK and seemed to use salt as the major spice for flavor. They were very busy as it was restaurant week in Cape May. The waitress was very nice and accommodating.

We had a great table on the enclosed deck overlooking the beach.
The food and drink were great.
The restaurant week options were varied enough that everyone in our group of 6 was able to find something off the menu without a problem.

Our server Tracy was excellent as was the manager Josh?.
We had a slight bump as our meals came out piecemeal and 2 of them were sent back for being over done. They also lost an appetizer. They responded positively and we will try them again. Just a BAD NIGHT IN THE KITCHEN

My wife and I were looking for something new in Cape May. Someplace we haven’t tried before, and someplace we could get reservations. Iron Pier came up on our search. The menu looked good and the restaurant is right on Beach Ave.

Upstairs above Cabana’s, the front hall and bar are a little dark, as many of these old Victorian style buildings are. The dining rooms are much better, esp. towards the front over looking the beach.

My wife and I tried the Kobe sliders, truffle fries, pan seared Brussel sprouts and lobster flatbread. With the exception of the very good flatbread, everything else was great. Food and service were excellent.

We’ve put it on our short list and are looking forward to going back soon!

Iron Pier has become one of my favorite restaurants in Cape May. The view is amazing! I really like the concept of sharing dishes, which my co-diners (family members) appreciated also. We shared a lot of the dishes -- shrimp Mac I've been there many times and will continue to go back because it's that good.

Hi, I'm so sorry- you used to be one of our favorite places but the food wasn't nearly as good as it used to be. Of the four of us at dinner, two who have been there before said something had changed and we wouldn't go back -. The two who hadn't been there before said the view was great, everyone was very nice, but they didn't think the food was good, either. Beer and wine were fine.
# The brussel sprouts were very over done and mushy with prefrozen, out of the bag and warmed up tater tots mixed in (among other things) - odd combination that did nothing for each other. The best tapas entree were the lollipop wings - special and unique. Kobe beef sliders were over done - average. Hummus was fine - wouldn't order it again. Overall, very disappointing meal that we think is unusual for this restaurant.

Fantastic views of the beach and ocean. Our waitress was wonderful. Kind, attentive and considerate. It could be loud at times because it’s an acoustic small space. One baby crying and i could hear the entire convo of the women behind me which was a heated political debate. Entertaining however haha. Bottom line is the venue had a beautiful view, great food and friendly staff. We had the steak and Brussel sprouts. Delicious. It’s a little on the pricey side but not awful compared to other restaurants in Cape May that don’t have that view! We also got birthday carrot cake !

The atmosphere was cozy, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. They were serving their New Year's menu tonight. (We had been once in summer, and enjoyed a completely different summer menu.) I enjoyed the branzino with chili lime sauce over sweet potato puree, John had cream of leek soup and the braised short ribs, Dawn and Jesse shared Kobe beef sliders, short rib grilled cheese and parmesan fries. Dawn and I enjoyed Ocean View cocktails, Jesse had a Tito's Mexival Mule, and John had seltzer with lime. We all enjoyed it and will definitely go there again. Highly recommend.

Was pleasantly surprised! First tine here, came in for Restaurant Week. My sister and I both loved the food. My sister had the coconut curry chicken and I had the hangar steak. Both perfectly cooked and delicious. Nice seasonal salad with a really good light dressing. I had a mug of Cape May Mop Hesd beer. Loved it! And my sister had a house glass of wine. We got the Happy hour price. We both got the triple chocolate cake to go. It was very good not too heavy or overly sweet.
The service was exceptional. Knowledgeable, friendly and just enough table attention. Not bothersome.
Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
