   Actually, the new restaurant, Ash was not open yet. The manager comped us a round of drinks and the waitress took care of us, accomodating us in an area outside the bar where the food is being served for the time being. I would go back to try the new restaurant once it is open.

   Iron Horse does not currently have a dining room. Also, apparently they aren’t using opentable, so you really don’t have a reservation. Seats are limited in bar area. We sat at a table which wasn’t well cleaned. It was dirty to the touch. Service was mediocre. Other Tables sat dirty for over 30 minutes. The couple at the table next to ours was complaining about food so we decided to finish our drinks and leave. On the way out stopped at the bathroom. Men’s restroom had two clogged toilets and women’s Restroom no toilet paper. The Iron Horse used to be a nice place! Will not go back.

   dining room closed which was NOT posted on website. sat in noisy crowded bar. took 15 minutes for cocktail to be delivered to table. booked 1000 pt table via OpenTable but they never checked me in alas NO 1000 pts posted to my OpenTable account. Food mediocre at best. Fries w sandwich old & cold. Valet mentioned parking $5 yet when I retrieved my car he tried to charge me $8. Card validated at bar. This used to be a premier place to go for food & drinks. Will never patronize this place again.

   Not impressed. Went because of the outdoor seating however, the DJ playing music was extremely loud and difficult to carry on a conversation. I ordered the seasonal omelette and it looked very pretty but lacked flavor and was very cold. The potatoes were extremely greasy and over cooked. Love the hotel and location but will not be back for food. The bloody Mary was not great which is surprising with all of the great bloody Mary’s in Milwaukee

   The service was superb. The scrambled eggs and rabbit ragout were very good, as was the Iron Grate Ham Benedict. The Yard was perfect, with heaters and a roof to keep the rain out.
